Իսրայելի բանակը մտել է Գազա քաղաք

Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը (ՑԱԽԱԼ) մտել է Գազա (Գազայի հատվածի վարչական կենտրոն)՝ ավարտելով շրջափակումը, հայտնում է The Hill-ը՝ վկայակոչելով իսրայելական աղբյուրները:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ վկայակոչելով Interfax-ը, ՑԱԽԱԼ-ի ներկայացուցիչ Դանիել Հագարին լրագրողներին հայտարարել է, որ քաղաքի շրջապատումից հետո ռազմանավերն ու ավիացիան օգնում են հետևակին և զրահատեխնիկային հարվածներ հասցնել ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի հրամանատարական կենտրոններին, հրթիռների արձակման վայրերին և այլ ենթակառուցվածքներին:
«Մեր ուժերը ոչնչացնում են ահաբեկիչներին մերձամարտում, ցանկացած վայրում, որտեղ պահանջվում են մարտական գործողություններ, նույնիսկ եթե դա դժվար է, ՑԱԽԱԼ-ը և դրա զինվորները հաղթում են»,- ասել է նա: ՑԱԽԱԼ-ի գլխավոր շտաբի պետ Հերցի Գալևին հայտարարել է, որ իսրայելական զորքերը գործում են Գազա քաղաքի կենտրոնում և «դեմ առ դեմ մարտեր են մղում»:
«Մեր ուժերը մարտնչում են քաղաքային դժվարամատչելի տեղանքում, ինչը պահանջում է արհեստավարժություն և մեծ խիզախություն»,- ասել է նա:
Գազայի հատվածի մայրաքաղաքի վրա հարձակումը սկսվել է մի քանի ժամ անց այն բանից հետո, երբ Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենյամին Նաթանյահուն հայտարարել է, որ իր զորքերը գտնվում են քաղաքի ծայրամասերում և պատրաստ են «հարձակվել ու հաղթել»: X սոցցանցում վարչապետը գրել է. «Մեզ ոչինչ չի կանգնեցնի»։
Իսրայելի ներխուժումը Գազա քաղաք տեղի է ունենում մեկ շաբաթից էլ քիչ անց այն բանից հետո, երբ Նաթանյահուն հայտարարեց անկլավում ցամաքային գործողությունների ընդլայնման մասին, և «նշանավորում է այն, ինչը, ինչպես սպասվում է, կդառնա ռազմական գործողությունների դաժան փուլի սկիզբը»,- գրում է The Hill-ը:
Թերթը նշում է, որ եթե Իսրայելը ցանկանում է ամբողջությամբ ոչնչացնել ՀԱՄԱՍ-ը, նրա զինվորները «ստիպված կլինեն պայքարել յուրաքանչյուր տան համար և ներթափանցել քաղաքի տակ գտնվող ականապատ թունելների ընդարձակ ցանց»:
Իսրայելը հետևողականորեն հայտարարում է պաղեստինյան արմատական ՀԱՄԱՍ խմբավորման վերացման անհրաժեշտության մասին, որը հոկտեմբերի 7-ին հարձակում է գործել Իսրայելի հարավի վրա, ինչի հետևանքով զոհվել է ավելի քան 1,4 հազար մարդ, ավելի քան 200-ը պատանդ են վերցվել:
Իսրայելական ռազմական գործողության ընթացքում Գազայի հատվածի ինտենսիվ ռմբակոծություններից արդեն զոհվել է մոտ 9 հազար պաղեստինցի, սակայն շարունակվող ցամաքային ներխուժումը Գազայի հատված կհանգեցնի էլ ավելի մեծ թվով զոհերի, նշում է The Hill-ը:
