ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենը նոյեմբերի 2-10-ը կայցելի Իսրայել, Հորդանան, Ճապոնիա, Կորեայի Հանրապետություն և Հնդկաստան։ Այս մասին ասվում է Պետդեպարտամենտի մամուլի ծառայության չորեքշաբթի օրը տարածած հաղորդագրության մեջ։
Փաստաթղթից երևում է, որ Թել Ավիվում Բլինքենը մտադիր է հայտարարել ԱՄՆ-ի աջակցությունն ահաբեկչությունից Իսրայելի ինքնապաշտպանության իրավունքին, ինչպես նաև քննարկել Վաշինգտոնի ջանքերը՝ ապահովելու ամերիկացի քաղաքացիների անվտանգությունը, պատանդներին ազատելը և Գազայի հատված մարդասիրական օգնության մատակարարումը մեծացնելու համար։ Հորդանանում ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարը նախատեսում է քննարկել Գազայի հատվածում հումանիտար իրավիճակը, ինչպես նաև Մերձավոր Արևելքում խաղաղ կարգավորման հեռանկարները։
Տոկիոյում Բլինքենը կմասնակցի Յոթնյակի երկրների ԱԳ նախարարների հանդիպմանը, ինչպես նաև երկկողմ հանդիպումներ կունենա Ճապոնիայի վարչապետ Ֆումիո Կիսիդայի և երկրի արտգործնախարար Յոկո Կամիկավայի հետ։ Սեուլում ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարը կհանդիպի Կորեայի Հանրապետության նախագահ Յուն Սեոկ Յոլի և արտգործնախարար Պակ Չինի հետ։ Դրանից հետո Բլինքենը կմեկնի Նյու Դելի, որտեղ ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարար Լլոյդ Օսթինի հետ հնդիկ գործընկերների հետ «2+2» ձևաչափով կքննարկի իրավիճակը հնդխաղաղօվկիանոսյան տարածաշրջանում։
Մերձավոր Արևելքում իրավիճակի կտրուկ վատթարացման ֆոնին Բլինքենն ավելի վաղ այցելել էր Իսրայել, Սաուդյան Արաբիա, Հորդանան, Կատար, Բահրեյն, Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրություններ և Եգիպտոս։ Բացի այդ, հոկտեմբերի 18-ին ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը մեկօրյա արտակարգ այցով Իսրայել է այցելել։
