Հնդկաստանի Անդհրա Պրադեշ նահանգում կիրակի օրը՝ հոկտեմբերի 29-ին, երկու մարդատար գնացքների բախման հետևանքով առնվազն 6 մարդ է զոհվել, մոտ 40-ը՝ վիրավորվել, հայտնում է AP-ն։ Միաժամանակ Reuters-ը, հղում անելով տեղի իշխանություններին, գրում է 10 զոհի և 25 վիրավորի մասի։
Կառավարության բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյայի վկայությամբ, միջադեպի հետևանքով ռելսերից դուրս է եկել մարդատար գնացքներից մեկի երեք վագոնը, փոխանցում է DW-ն։ Միջադեպը տեղի է ունեցել Հնդկաստանի հարավարևելքում, երբ գնացքներից մեկը, որը Վիզագա բնակավայրից Ռայագադա էր ուղևորվում, կանգ է առել կոնտակտային համակարգի էլեկտրագծի կտրվելու պատճառով։ Այդ պահին նրան է մխրճվել հանդիպակաց ճեպընթացը։
Հունիսի սկզբին Հնդկաստանի Օդիշա նահանգում գնացքների բախման հետևանքով զոհվել էր առնվազն 288 մարդ, վիրավորվել ավելի քան 900-ը։ Սա վերջին 20 տարվա ընթացքում երկրի ամենասարսափելի երկաթուղային վթարն էր:
