Գիտնականները հեղուկ վառելիք են ստացել արևային էներգիայից

Գիտնականները գտել են արևային լույսից հեղուկ էներգակիր՝ իսոպրոպիլային սպիրտ, ստանալու տարբերակը: Նոր հայտնագործությունը կարևոր էր, որովհետև հասկանալի էր, որ ինքնաթիռները, մեքենաները և այլ տրանսպորտային միջոցները հնարավոր չի միացնել վարդակին: Իսկ մարդկությունը վառելիքի այլ տեսակների կարիք ունի, որովհետև բնական պաշարները անսպառ չեն:
Հարվարդի համալսարանի գիտնականները ստեղծել են և կփորձարկեն արևային էներգիայից ստացվող հեղուկ վառելիքի կենսասինթեզի տեխնիկան։ Նոր հեղուկի ստեղծման սկզբունքը պարզ է՝ հատուկ ստեղծված բջջում արևային լույսերի ազդեցության ներքո ջուրը թթվածինը բաժանում է ջրածինների, ինչից հետո հատուկ բակտերիաների միջոցով ջրածինները միացվում են ածխաթթու գազի հետ:
Նման ձևով բույսերը էներգիա են ստանում գոյատևման համար, ինչի համար գիտնականներն այս տարբերակն անվանել են «արհեստական տերև»: Ներկայումս «արհեստական տերև»-ի արդյունավետությունը հավասար է բնական բիոսինթեզի արդյունավետությանը՝ 1% արևային էներգիան վերածվում է անհրաժեշտ կենսազանգվածի:
