Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը (ՑԱԽԱԼ) 24 ժամվա ընթացքում հարվածներ է հասցրել Գազայի հատվածի 320 օբյեկտների, այդ թվում՝ պաղեստինյան իսլամիստական ՀԱՄԱՍ շարժման ստորգետնյա թունելներին։ Այս մասին ասվում է բանակի մամուլի ծառայության հայտարարության մեջ, որը հրապարակվել է իր պաշտոնական հեռագրային ալիքում։
«Վերջին 24 ժամվա ընթացքում Իսրայելի պաշտպանության ուժերը հարձակվել են Գազայի հատվածում ավելի քան 320 թիրախների վրա, ներառյալ թունելները, որոնցում գտնվում էին ՀԱՄԱՍ ահաբեկչական կազմակերպության զինյալները, ինչպես նաև տասնյակ օպերատիվ շտաբներ, ռազմական օբյեկտներ և դիտակետեր, որտեղ գտնվում էին ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի և Իսլամական ջիհադի ահաբեկիչները», - հաղորդում են նրանք: Վերջին 24 ժամվա ընթացքում Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը ոչնչացրել է նաև կայանքներ, որոնք վտանգ են ներկայացնում Գազայում ցամաքային գործողություններին նախապատրաստվող իսրայելական ստորաբաժանումների համար: Տասնյակ ականանետեր են ոչնչացվել, իսկ անցած գիշեր Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակին պատկանող տանկը ոչնչացրել է ահաբեկիչների մի շարք մարտական դիրքեր, այդ թվում՝ Գազայում հակատանկային կայանք։
