Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի խմբագրականից մի հատված.

«Եթե մի քանի հարյուր հոգի հիվանդ է գրիպով, և առնվազն 11 հոգի (երեկվա դրությամբ) դրանից մահացել է, ապա ի՞նչ կփոխվի նրանից, եթե դա կոչվի համաճարակ։ Խուճապի ո՞ր տեսակն է այդ դեպքում ակնկաւվամ։ Մարդիկ գրոհելու են դեղատները և անիմաստ դեղե՞ր են գնելու։ Բայց հաշվի առնելով ներկայիս սոցիալական վիճակը՝ ես խիստ կասկածում եմ, որ քաղաքացիների մեծ մասը հնարավորություն ունենա 20 հազարանոց դեղեր գնելու։ Ուրիշ հարց, որ պետք է հորդորել մարդկանց՝ եթե նույնիսկ նրանց միջոցները բավարարում են, ինքնուրույն չբուժվել)։ Եթե խուճապի նշան է փողոցներում շնչադիմակներով ման գալը (մենք հիմա նման եզակի դեպքերի ականատեսն ենք), ապա դրա մեջ, կարծում եմ, որևէ բացասական   բան  չկա։

Բայց եթե հնչի «համաճարակ»՝ ներկայումս «արգելված» բառը, ապա առողջապահության նախարարությունն, ըստ երևույթին, ստիպված կլինի արթնանալ ներկայիս relax վիճակից և իր հիմնարկներում գործուն միջոցներ ձեռնարկել՝ մարդկանց կյանքը փրկելու, ինչպես նաև գուցե ակտիվացնի կանխարգելիչ աշխատանքները։ Խրոխտ հաղորդագրությունները, ինքնագովազդը և ինքնագովասանքը այդ իրավիճակում, հավանաբար, այնքան էլ պատեհ չեն։ Չգիտեմ, գուցե դրանք նպաստում են նրան, որ խուճապ չառաջանա, բայց մյուս կողմից՝ խորը անվստահություն են առաջացնում մեր առողջապահական համակարգի նկատմամբ։

Ենթադրում եմ, որ մարդիկ խուճապից չէ, որ մահանում   են»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։
