Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին այս տարի հոկտեմբերի 21-ին նշում է չորս ավետարանիչների` Սուրբ Մատթեոսի, Սուրբ Մարկոսի, Սուրբ Ղուկասի և Սուրբ Հովհաննեսի  հիշատակը։

Փրկչի կյանքն ու գոյությունն ինքնին բարի լուր է, որ չորս ավետարանիչները փոխանցեցին մեզ, սակայն բարի լուր է, անշուշտ, նաև Աստծո թագավորության հաստատումը՝ Քրիստոսի միջոցով։ 

Ինչպե՞ս ենք մենք ընդունում այս Ավետիսը։ Հաճախ մեր կյանքում հայտնված հանգամանքները մեզ թուլացնում են, պակաս զգայուն դարձնում աստվածային լույսի հանդեպ, որ փոխանցվել է մեզ Փրկչի միջոցով։ Հաճախ մենք մոռանում ենք մեր առաքելությունը, մոռանում ենք, որ հետևորդն ենք Ճշմարտության և Լույսի։ Այո՛, աշխարհի բարքերն այսօր կարծես ավելի շատ միտված մեր մեջ կործանելու Տիրոջից մեզ փոխանցված լույսը, սակայն պետք է նորոգենք մեր հավատն ամենօրյա աշխատանքով և պահպանենք այն, ինչն աստվածատուր է։

Կհարցնեք՝ ինչպե՞ս նորոգել հավատը, արթնացնել հույսը՝ մեզ հետ մշտապես ունենալով Ավետիսը։ Անշուշտ, աղոթքով, Աստծո հետ երկխոսությամբ, աստվածահաճո կյանքով ապրելով, զղջումով, ապաշխարությամբ։ Երեք կարևոր առաքինություններով՝ հույսով, հավատով և սիրով, որ Տերը շնորհել է մեզ, մենք կարող ենք իսկապես անել ամենադրական, աստվածահաճո արարքները, հարթել մեր հավատի հաստատման ուղին։

Աստծուն մշտապես դիմելիս հիշենք, որ ոչինչ անպատասխան չի մնա, իսկ մեր կյանքն ապրելիս հիշենք Ավետիսի մասին, որը մեզ է փոխանցվել չորս ավետարանիչների միջոցով, որի կրողը և փոխանցողը նաև մենք ենք այսօր։ Այս գիտակցությամբ ապրողը երբեք չի գործի չարիք, քանզի գիտի և քաջ գիտակցում է, որ Քրիստոսի գոյության ավետիսով արդեն իսկ փոխվել է իր կյանքը։ Եվ որ այդ ավետիսը մեր կյանքում ունենալու համար սիրելուց և բարին գործելուց բացի՝ ոչինչ ավելին չի պահանջվում մեզնից։

Այսօր խնդրենք Տիրոջից, որ բաց պահի մեր սրտերն աստվածային լույսի առաջ, որ դառնանք լույսի կրողը և տարածողը, քանի  քրիստոնյա լինելու Ավետիսն ունենք ու կոչված ենք  մեր ամբողջ կյանքի ընթացքում արժանի լինելու այդ կոչմանը։
