«Այն, ինչ կատարվում է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում, 1915 թվականի ցեղասպանության ոգով է»․ «Փաստ»

«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
france-catholique.fr–ն «1915 թվականի ցեղասպանության ոգին դեռ կենդանի է» վերնագրով հոդվածում հրապարակել է հարցազրույց l'Օeuvre d'Orient-ի տնօրեն, արքեպիսկոպոս Պասկալ Գոլնիշի հետ: Անդրադառնալով հարցին, թե 100.000-ից ավելի հայ լքել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը, արքեպիսկոպոսն ասել է. «Իրավիճակն անկայուն է: Հայաստանը փոքր, աղքատ երկիր է, որը չէր կանխատեսել նման գործողություն, ինչը պարադոքսալ է, որովհետև շատերը դրան սպասում էին։ Մարդիկ քնում են ժամանակավոր պայմաններում, և մենք պետք է հնարավորինս արագ գործենք թե՛ սննդի, թե՛ բնակության, թե՛ այլ հարցերով: Մենք կոչ ենք անում ֆրանսիացի ժողովրդին՝ լինել առատաձեռն։ Կարիքները չափազանց մեծ են։ Մենք ցանկանում ենք նաև օգնել հայ կաթոլիկ եկեղեցուն, որը Հայաստանում փոքրամասնություն է կազմում, որ նա միջոցներ ունենա օգնելու»: Արքեպիսկոպոս Պասկալ Գոլնիշը նաև խոսել է Արցախում ադրբեջանցիների վայրագությունների մասին:
«Մենք լսել ենք հայերի տները թալանելու և գողությունների մասին։ Բացի այդ, հայկական փողոցները վերանվանվում են, նրանց թուրքական անուններ են տալիս։ Ասում են, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի մայրաքաղաք Ստեփանակերտի գլխավոր փողոցը կրում է 1915 թվականի Հայոց ցեղասպանության առաջնորդներից մեկի անունը։ Անհրաժեշտ է բացահայտել, դատապարտել և քրեական գործ հարուցել այդ խախտումների համար պատասխանատուների նկատմամբ։ Ադրբեջանի իշխանություններն ուղղակի պատասխանատվություն են կրում այն ամենի համար, ինչ տեղի է ունենում այնտեղ»,-ասել է նա։ Հարցին՝ արդյո՞ք Հայաստանը պետք է շրջի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հիմնախնդրի էջը, արքեպիսկոպոսը պատասխանել է. «Մենք հրաժարվում ենք ասել, որ ամեն ինչ ավարտված է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի համար։
Ավարտված է, եթե մենք որոշենք, որ ավարտված է: Այն, որ բնակչությունը փախել է, չի նշանակում, որ մենք չպետք է ապահովենք նրանց վերադարձի պայմանները, տարածքի անվտանգությունը, Ադրբեջանի ռազմական կամ ոստիկանական ուժերի տարհանումը, միջազգային անվտանգությունը և մարդկանց ազատ տեղաշարժի իրավունքը։ Դա արվել է, օրինակ՝ Կոսովոյում։ Ինչո՞ւ մենք կարող ենք աշխատել կոսովցիների հետ, իսկ նույնը չենք կարող անել հայերի հետ։ Իրականում դա հնարավոր է։ Մենք պարզապես չենք ուզում: Դա լրիվ ուրիշ բան է»: Պասկալ Գոլնիշը նաև հիշել է Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը. «Այն, ինչ կատարվում է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում, 1915 թվականի ցեղասպանության ոգով է: Նրանք ցանկանում են արմատախիլ անել հայերին տարածաշրջանից։
Հիշեցնեմ, որ մինչ 1915 թվականի ցեղասպանությունը և 1,5 մլն հայերի կոտորածը, Համիդիայում 1894-1897 թվականներին օսմանցիների կողմից իրականացված կոտորած է տեղի ունեցել, որի հետևանքով զոհվել է 200 հազար մարդ, ինչի մասին բոլորը մոռացել են, էլ չեմ խոսում Կիլիկիայում կոտորածի մասին, երբ 1909 թվականին սպանվեց 30000 հայ։ Ավելի լայն իմաստով մենք պետք է նաև հիշենք Թուրքիայում հույների կոտորածը 19001916 թվականներին, կամ ասորի-քաղդեացիների ջարդերը 1915-1923 թվականներին»։
