Քաղաքական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պատմաբան Արմեն Այվազյանը Ֆեյսբուքի իր էջում գրել է․
 
«Ինչու՞ է հայ հասարակությունն այդքան ծանր տանում Ի. Ալիևի տեղեկատվական-հոգեբանական գրոհներն ու նվաստացուցիչ քայլերը։ Այդ երևույթն ունի երկու հիմնական պատճառ։
 
Առաջին. հայկական քաղաքական «վերնախավն» անվերջ խոսել է ու դեռ խոսում է Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի հետ խաղաղություն հաստատելու մասին՝ մարդկանց վարակելով սին հույսերով ՀՀ-Ադրբեջան և ՀՀ-Թուրքիա հարաբերությունների իբր մոտալուտ բարելավման վերաբերյալ։ Շատ-շատերը տակավին չեն հասկացել, որ այդպիսի բարելավում չի լինելու, իսկ Ադրբեջանն ու Թուրքիան շարունակելու են իրենց թշնամական քաղաքականությունը Հայաստանի և հայ ժողովրդի դեմ։
 
Երկրորդ պատճառն այն է, որ Ալիևի սադրիչ գործողությունները պատշաճ պատասխանի չեն արժանանում ՀՀ պետական կառույցների և անձամբ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի կողմից, ով Ալիևի վիրավորանքներն անվերջ կուլ է տալիս ու այդպիսով ստիպում բոլորիս՝ ամբողջ հայությանը, նվաստացած և անօգնական զգալ։ Դրածոյի առջև հենց այդպիսի խնդիր էլ դրված է (հատկապես 2020 թ. նոյեմբերի 9-ից ի վեր)՝ ամեն կերպ նպաստել հայ ժողովրդի խեղճացմանը, ամբողջությամբ կոտրել նրա դիմադրական ոգին։
 
Մեր հասարակությունը պետք է, ի վերջո, հաշտվի այն ծանր մտքի հետ, որ Ադրբեջանն էլ, Թուրքիան էլ թշնամի, հայասպան պետություններ են։ Հետևաբար, Հայաստանին ու հայությանն ամեն կերպ հարվածելու ու վնաս հասցնելու նրանց գործողությունները միանգամայն բնական են և դադարելու հիմքեր էլ չունեն։
 
Նրանց թշնամություններին ավելի հանգիստ ու համարժեք՝ առանց ավելորդ ջղաձգումների, վերաբերելու համար, պահանջվում է ընդամենը մեկ բան.
 
ՊԱՏԱՍԽԱՆԵԼ ԹՇՆԱՄՈՒՆ ՀԱՄԱՉԱՓ ԿԱՄ ԱՆՀԱՄԱՉԱՓ ՆՈՒՅՆԱՆՄԱՆ ՀԱԿԱՔԱՅԼԵՐՈՎ՝ ՈՐՔԱՆ ԱՎԵԼԻ ՑԱՎՈՏ, ԱՅՆՔԱՆ ԱՎԵԼԻ ԼԱՎ։
 
Ազգի դիմադրողականությունն ու ինքնահարգանքը պահպանելու համար այլ ելք ու միջոց պարզապես չկա։
 
Քանի դեռ ՀՀ կառավարությունը բաղկացած է օտարի խամաճիկներից ու ապազգային պարտվողականներից, Ալիևի տեղեկատվական-հոգեբանական գրոհներին պատասխանելու հույժ կարևոր խնդիրն ընկնում է հասարակության հայրենասեր ու քաղաքականապես գիտակից հատվածի վրա։ Գոնե տեղեկատվական դաշտում հայոց արդյունավետ պատասխանը մեր թշնամիներին լիովին հնարավոր է։ Գործել է պետք»։
