Պորտուգալիայում Եվրոպայի խոշորագույն լողացող արևային այգին կկառուցվի

Պորտուգալիայի Ալկևա ջրամբարում Եվրոպայի ամենամեծ լողացող արևային այգին կկառուցվի։ Ներկայումս երկու քարշակ չորս ֆուտբոլային դաշտի չափով հսկայական քանակությամբ արևային մարտկոցներ (12000 կտոր) են տեղափոխում դեպի ջրամբարի մոտ գտնվող նավամատույց։
Արևմտյան Եվրոպայի ամենամեծ արհեստական լճի վրա երկրի գլխավոր կոմունալ ընկերության կողմից կառուցված EDP-ն փայլուն լողացող կղզին է, որը Ուկրաինայի պատերազմի պատճառով թանկացող հանածո վառելիքի ներկրումից իր կախվածությունը նվազեցնելու Պորտուգալիայի ծրագրի մի մասն է կազմում:
Արևային երկարատև ժամերի և ատլանտյան քամիների կողմից օրհնված Պորտուգալիան արագացրել է իր անցումը էներգիայի վերականգնվող աղբյուրներին: Բայց չնայած նրան, որ երկիրը գրեթե չի օգտագործում ռուսական ածխաջրածիններ, գազով աշխատող նրա էլեկտրակայանները դեռևս գտնվում են վառելիքի գների աճի ճնշման տակ:
Ալկևայի ջրամբարի վահանակները, որոնք օգտագործվում են հիդրոէլեկտրաէներգիա արտադրելու համար, տարեկան կարտադրեն 7,5 գիգավատտ/ժամ էլեկտրաէներգիա և կհամալրվեն լիթիումային մարտկոցներով՝ 2 գիգավատտ/ժամ պահելու համար:
