«Օզ երկրի կախարդը» ֆիլմի Դորոթիի կոշիկները գողացած ամերիկացուն սպառնում է մինչև 10 տարվա ազատազրկում

ԱՄՆ-ի բնակիչ Թերի Ջոն Մարտինն իրեն մեղավոր է ճանաչել թանգարանի կողոպուտի մեջ, որի ժամանակ նա գողացել է ռուբինե կարմիր կոշիկներ, որոնք կրել է Ջուդի Գարլենդի հերոս Դորոթին «Օզ երկրի կախարդը» ֆիլմում:
Մարտինը կարծում էր, որ սուտակները իսկական գոհարներ են, մինչև որ զարդերի գնորդը, ով գնում է գողացված ապրանքներ, նրան ասել է, որ դրանք ապակուց են:
Նրա փաստաբանը Associated Press-ին ասել է, որ իր 76-ամյա հաճախորդն այժմ վատառողջ է:
Այդ կոշիկը 1939 թվականի ֆիլմից մնացած միայն չորս իսկական զույգերից մեկն են:
Գողացված զույգը զարդարված էր ռուբինե փականներով և ապակե ուլունքներից ժապավեններով: Այս զույգը Գարլանդը կրել է մյուզիքլի նկարահանումների ժամանակ:
2005 թվականին Հոլիվուդի հուշանվերների կոլեկցիոներ Մայքլ Շոուն այդ կոշիկները փոխառության է տվել հանգուցյալ դերասանուհու հայրենի քաղաքում՝ Գրանդ Ռապիդսում, Մինեսոտա նահանգում Ջուդի Գարլենդ թանգարանին։
Դաշնային դատախազները Մարտինի դեմ մեղադրական եզրակացության մասին հայտարարել են մայիսին՝ հավելելով, որ կոշիկների ներկայիս շուկայական արժեքը կազմում է մոտ 3,5 միլիոն դոլար։
Մարտինը, ով նախկինում դատապարտվել էր 1988 թվականին՝ գողացված գույք ստանալու համար, մնում է ազատության մեջ՝ մինչև դատավճիռ կայացնելը, թեև ամսաթիվը դեռ որոշված չէ:
Դաշնային կանոնները ենթադրում են, որ մարտինը կարող է ճաղերի հետեւում անցկացնել 8-10 տարի, ասել է նրա փաստաբանը:
