Պետդեպի արձագանքը Politico-ի՝ առաջիկայում Ադրբեջանի՝ Հայաստան հնարավոր ներխուժմшն մասին հրապարակմանը

ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարությունը պատասխանել է «Ամերիկայի ձայնի» հայկական ծառայության հարցմանը՝ կապված Politico հանդեսում լույս տեսած «Բլինքենը զգուշացրել է օրենսդիրներին, որ Ադրբեջանը կարող է ներխուժել Հայաստան առաջիկա շաբաթներին» վերնագրով հրապարակման հետ:
Ի պատասխան՝ պետքարտուղարությունն ընդգծել է, որ «Միացյալ Նահանգները շարունակում է համագործակցել Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի առաջնորդների հետ ամենաբարձր մակարդակներում՝ ձգտելով արժանապատիվ և տեւական խաղաղությանը, որտեղ հարգվում են բոլորի իրավունքները: Ուժի կիրառումն անընդունելի է, և ուղիղ երկխոսությունը կարևոր նշանակություն ունի այս երկարատև հակամարտության կարգավորման համար», նշված է պետքարտուղարության պատասխանի մեջ։
Ամերիայն արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունը նաև նշել է, որ «ԱՄՆ աջակցում է Հայաստանի կառավարության ջանքերին՝ մարդասիրական կազմակերպությունների հետ սերտ համագործակցությամբ օգնելու տեղահանվածներին ապաստան և հարմարավետություն գտնել Հայաստանում։ Մենք մեր կարեկցանքն ենք հայտնում տեղահանված անձանց՝ գիտակցելով, թե ինչ շոկի և տրավմայի միջով են նրանք անցնում, և ինչ անորոշության հետ են բախվում»:
Պետքարտուղարությունը նաև հավելել է, որ Բաքուն պատասխանատվություն է կրում խաղաղ բնակիչներին պաշտպանելու և բոլորի նկատմամբ մարդկային վերաբերմունք ապահովելու համար, ներառյալ նրանց, ում կասկածում է ռազմական գործողությունների մասնակցության մեջ:
«Ադրբեջանը նաև պատասխանատու է, որ իր [զինված] ուժերը համապատասխանեն միջազգային իրավունքին, ներառյալ միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքի, որը կարգավորում է ռազմական գործողությունների իրականացումը, խաղաղ բնակչության պաշտպանությունը և ռազմական գործողությունների մասնակիցների նկատմամբ մարդասիրական վերաբերմունքը», ասված է «Ամերիկայի ձայնի» հայկական ծառայությանն ուղղված պետքարտուղարության պատասխանում:
