Արտակ Զաքարյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.

Ժամանակակից պետությունների անվտանգության, կայուն զարգացման ու հեռանկարային հարցերը մեծապես կապված են տվյալ երկրի արտաքին քաղաքականության հետ:
 
Հատկապես փոքր երկրների համար, ճիշտ ընտրված, ճկուն արտաքին քաղաքականությունը անվտանգ զարգացման ամենամեծ երաշխիքն է:
 
Գերտերություններն իրավունք ունեն սխալվելու` հատկապես, որ ունեն սխալներն ուղղելու իրական հնարավորություններ: Փոքր պետություններին ի սկզբանե տրված չէ սխալվելու իրավունք: Մեր բոլոր ողբերգությունները գալիս են վերջին տարիներին գործած դավադիր սխալներից և շարունակվող արկածախնդրություններից:
 
Սերժ Սարգսյանի թողած արտաքին քաղաքական ճարտարապետությունը` անվտանգության, կայուն զարգացման, խորացող բազմակող ու երկկողմ կապերի, փոխադարձ շահերի և միջազգայնորեն ընդունված իրավահարաբերությունների յուրահատուկ համակցություն էր:
 
Հայաստանն ուներ և ավելացնում էր իր կշիռը: Առնվազն մեր տարածաշրևանում` Հայաստանն ինքնուրույն գործոն էր, իր շահերի տեսանկյունից`որոշիչ սուբյեկտ:
Ամբողջը կառուցված էր հայեցակարգերի, սկզբունքների, երկարաժամկետ ու կարճաժամկետ շահերի վրա: Նրբորեն կառուցված և հաշվարկներով իրականացվող քաղաքականության մեջ յուրաքանչյուր դետալ ուներ իր դերն ու նշանակությունը: Ադրբեջանի նախագահը 2022թ. մարտին խոստովանել է, որ «30 տարի Ադրբեջանը պարտված էր Հայաստանին՝ բոլոր ոլորտներում»:
 
Նիկոլի վարած արտաքին քաղաքականությունը, առաջին իսկ օրերից ձեռմուխ եղավ այդ համակարգի բոլոր դետալները հատ առ հատ քանդելուն: Հետևանքները առավել քան ողբերգական են ու պարզ:
 
Իրավիճակը մեծ Մերձավոր Արևելքի տարածաշրջանում գնալով ավելի է սրվում ու դառնում մեծ պատերազմների համար պայթյունավտանգ: Այս իրավիճակում մենք ունենք հինը խարխլած և նորը չկառուցած, խայտառակ վատ վիճակում գտնվող արտաքին քաղաքականություն` իր վտանգածված «անվտանգային համակարգով»:
 
Վերջին վնասն էլ ՌԴ-ՀՀ հարաբերություններին հասցված, թուրքական շահերից բխող հարվածներն են, որն առավել մշուշոտ է դարձրել Հայաստանի ապագան:
Մեր ժողովրդին մնացել է հուսալ, որ սկսվող և հավանական պատերազմները, շղթայական ռեակցիայով չբռնկեն նաև Հարավային Կովկասը:
