Գերմանիայից, Ֆրանսիայից, Բելգիայից և Նիդերլանդներից ժամանած տասը հազարից ավելի մարդ է մասնակցում Բրյուսելի Ռոբերտ Շումանի անվան հրապարակում ի զորակցություն Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի անցկացվող համաեվրոպական հանրահավաքին։ «Արմենպրես»-ի թղթակցի տեղեկացմամբ՝ «Եվրոպացիներն հանուն Արցախի» նախաձեռնության կազմակերպած հանրահավաքը մեկնարկել է Հայաստանի և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի օրհներգերով։
Հանրահավաքի մասնակիցների ձեռքին գտնվող պաստառների հիմնական մասը իրենց գրություններով մեղադրում են Եվրամիությանը և Եվրահանձնաժողովի ղեկավար Ուրսուլա ֆոն դեր Լայենին՝ Ալիեևի ռեժիմն անպատժելի թողնելու համար, կան նաև «Ալիև, մարդասպան» գրությամբ պաստառներ։
Հանրահավաքին մասնակցելու համար Ֆրանսիայից ժամանել են բարձրաստիճան քաղաքական գործիչներ, պատգամավորներ, տարածաշրջանների ղեկավարներ և քաղաքապետեր։ Նախատեսվում է, որ նրանք ելույթով հանդես կգան համաեվրոպական հանրահավաքին։
Բելգիայի Հայ կոմիտեի վեհաժողովի նախագահ Կարեն Թադևոսյանը նշել է. «Այսօր այստեղ հավաքվածներիցդ յուրաքանչյուրը կրում է պատասխանատվություն բոլոր այն մարդկանց առջև, ովքեր աշխատում են, որպեսզի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի 120 հազար հայերի ճակատագիրը չմատնվի անտերության։ Մենք արդեն կուշտ ենք լղոզված հայտարարություններից, և եկել է ժամանակը, որպեսզի Եվրոպան գործի և անդրադառնա հարցին առ այն, որ մենք՝ որպես Եվրոպայի քաղաքացիներ, ունենք հավասար իրավունքներ պահանջելու այն ամենը, ինչ յուրաքանչյուր եվրոպացին կպահանջի։ Այսօր միակ բանը, որ մենք կարող ենք անել, բռունցք լինելն է, որպեսզի կարողանանք մեկ բռունցք եղած պայքարել այն բոլոր անարդարությունների դեմ, որոնք, ցավոք, թելադրում են աշխարհաքաղաքական խաղերը»։
Հավաքվածները խորհրդանշական երդում տվեցին` պայքարել հանուն Հայաստանի և Արցախի. «Չենք զիջելու և չենք հաշտվելու։ Հայաստանի և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հայությունը կարող է ապավինել մեզ»։
«Եվրոպացիներն հանուն Արցախի» նախաձեռնության ի զորակցություն Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի և Ադրբեջանի էթնիկ զտումներն ու ցեղասպան քաղաքականությունը դատապարտող համաեվրոպական հանրահավաքն անցկացվում է Եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնքի՝ հոկտեմբերի 5-ին կայանալիք երրորդ գագաթնաժողովին ընդառաջ, որի շրջանակներում նախատեսվում է Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հանդիպումը՝ Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելի, Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնի և Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Օլաֆ Շոլցի միջնորդությամբ։
