Կոնստանտին Տեր-Նակալյանը Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
26 տարի առաջ այս օրը Բաքվում սկսվեցին հայերի ջարդերը, որոնց զոհ գնացին տասնյակ հայեր։ Հգեվարքի մեջ գտնվող ԽՍՀՄ-ը ի վերջո արտակարգ դրություն մտցրեց ու բանակը մտցրեց քաղաք, ինչի արդյունքում սպանվեցին մի քանի տասնյակ ադրբեջանցի ջարդարարներ, բայց դա ոչ մեղմեց կատարվածը, ոչ էլ լուծեց իրավիճակը։ Ընդհակառակը, Գորբաչովը, ով ինչպես հետո պետք է խոստովաներ, նպատակ էր դրել ոչնչացնել ԽՍՀՄ-ը, անգամ այս դրվագում կիսաքայելրի դիմեց այնպես, որ մեծ հաշվով այս գործողությունն էլ ավելի խորացրեց ճգնաժամն ու մոտեցրեց ԽՍՀՄ-ի կոլլապսը։
Ինչևէ, 26 տարի անց, ամենակարևոր պատմական դասը, որը կարծես թե նորից խիստ ակտուալ է, կայանում է մեզ համար նրանում, որ թուրքի համար պետք չէ որևէ տեսանելի ու ռացիոնալ պատճառ՝ հայ կոտորելու համար։ Էս պարզ իրողությունը հատուկ նրանց համար է պետք ծամել-ծամծմել, ովքեր լոլոներ են կարդում, թե հայ-ադրբեջանական թշնամանքը զուտ քաղաքական-մանիպուլյատիվ բնույթ են կրում և իրականում հասարակ մարդիկ թշնամանք չեն տածում միմյանց նկատմամբ։
Այո, իհարկե, ջարդերի ժամանակ գտնվեցին այնպիսի ադրբեջանցիք, ովքեր ապաստան տվեցին հայերին՝ իրենց վայրի հայրենակիցներից փրկելով նրանց, բայց եթե չկա այդ թշնամանքը չկար ու չկա, ինչո՞ւ ադեկվատ ադրբեջանցիների թիվը ու մոտիվացիան բացարձակապես բավական չէր, որպեսզի կանխվեր այս ողբերգությունը ու ինչու բանակի ստորաբաժանումները միայն կարողացան սաստել արյան համն առած ամբոխին։
Էս ամենը մեկ բան են հերթական անգամ սովորեցնում․ եղունգ ունես՝ գլուխդ քորի։ Մեր «եղունգը»՝ մեր Բանակն է, որն այսօր միակ իրական ու հարատև երաշխիքն է, որ Բաքվի ջարդերը չեն կրկնվի արդեն հայկական քաղաքներում ու գյուղերում և այդ երաշխիքը պահպանելու համար, ցավոք զոհեր ենք ունենում։ Սակայն նրանք, ով այդ զոհերը փորձում են շահարկել հանուն իրենց քաղաքական դիվիդենտների, կամ էլ տրվում են նման սրիկաների հռետորաբանությանը ու հայտարարում են, որ թուրքը չի մեր զոհերի մեղավորը, այլ հենց մենք, ուրեմն այդպիսիք ոչ այլ ինչ են, քան պոտենցիալ թուրք ջարդարարի աջակից ու ծառա։
