ԱՄՆ Միջազգային զարգացման գործակալության տնօրեն Սամանթա Փաուերը, դիմելով Հայաստանին, հայ ժողովրդին, վստահեցրեց, որ ԱՄՆ-ն վստահելի բարեկամ ու գործընկեր է:
«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Փաուերն այս մասին հայտարարեց Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպանությունում հրավիրված ասուլիսում:
«Մենք շարունակելու ենք մեր փոխգործակցությունը Հայաստանի ժողովրդի հետ ժողովրդավարությունն ամրապնդելու և տնտեսական զարգացումներ ապահովելու ուղղությամբ: Այս հարձակումները չեն կարող վտանգել այն ձեռքբերումները, որ Հայաստանն ունեցել է: Ես ուզում եմ գովեստով խոսել վարչապետ Փաշինյանի և հայ ժողովրդի վերաբերյալ՝ այն ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների կապակցությամբ, որոնք 2018 թվականից ի վեր գրանցվել են»,-ասաց Փաուերը՝ նշելով կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի, քաղաքացիական հասարակության գործունեության ընդլայնման և այլ հարցեր:
Խոսելով Հայաստանում իրականացված բարեփոխումների մասին՝ նա վստահեցրեց, որ ԱՄՆ-ն հանձնառու է աջակցել այս զարգացումներին: ԱՄՆ-ն աջակցում է Հակակոռուպցիոն դատարանի, Քննչական կոմիտեի զարգացմանը:
Փաուերը նշեց, որ ԱՄՆ-ն 1992 թ-ից 33 մլրդ դոլար է հատկացրել ՀՀ-ին, աշխատել են ամեն օր փոխգործակցությունն ամրապնդելու ուղղությամբ:
«Հայաստանը պատմական առաջընթաց է արձանագրել իր անկախության, իր ինքնիշխանության, ժողովրդավարության ասպարեզում և իր համայնքների համար տնտեսական հնարավորություններ ապահովելու ուղղությամբ և ապահովելու իր իրավունքները՝ ապրելու խաղաղ և արժանապատիվ, ինչը հիմնարար է: Եվ, երբ Հայաստանը, հայերը՝ դուք շարունակում եք այս ճանապարհը նույնիսկ այս վերջին ճգնաժամի պայմաններում, ուզում եմ իմանաք, որ դուք ունեք բարեկամ և վստահելի գործընկեր՝ ի դեմս Միացյալ Նահանգների»,-եզրափակեց ԱՄՆ ՄԶԳ տնօրենը:
Միջազգային զարգացման գործակալության (USAID) ղեկավար Սամանթա Փաուերը և ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի՝ Եվրոպայի և Եվրասիայի հարցերով օգնականի պաշտոնակատար Յուրի Քիմը Հայաստան են ժամանել սեպտեմբերի 25-ին: Փաուերն ասաց, որ առաջիկայում իրենց ուշադրության կենտրոնում քաղաքացիական անձանց վիճակն է ԼՂ-ում:
«Որպես ԱՄՆ ՄԶԳ՝ մեր ուշադրությունը միտված է քաղաքացիական անձանց բարօրության ապահովմանը: Մարդիկ չեն կարողացել դուրս գալ, նրանց հասանելի չեն եղել սննդամթերք, այլ պարագաներ: Այս հարցը մեր անմիջական ուշադրության կենտրոնում է: Մենք այստեղ գալով՝ ավելին ենք իմացել իրավիճակի լրջության վերաբերյալ, տեղեկացել ենք, թե ինչերի միջով են անցել ԼՂ-ի մարդիկ»,-ասաց նա՝ հավելելով, որ ԼՂ անարգել մուտքի հնարավորություն ապահովելու կոչ են արել:
