Սյունիքի մարզպետ Ռոբերտ Ղուկասյանը Գորիսում ԱՄՆ Միջազգային զարգացման գործակալության (USAID) ղեկավար Սամանթա Փաուերին ներկայացրեց վերջին մի քանի օրերին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի վրա ադրբեջանական հարձակման, ինչպես նաև վերջին ամիսներին Լաչինի միջանցքի արգելափակման հետևանքով Գորիսում ստեղծված իրավիճակը։

«Երբեմն մենք տեղեկություն ենք ստանում, որ երեխաներով ավտոբուս կա միջանցքում, և երեխաները թթվածնի կարիք ունեն կամ այլ խնդիր ունեն, բայց մենք չենք կարողանում հասնել նրանց», - հայտնեց Ղուկասյանը՝ հավելելով, որ մարդիկ գալիս են ամեն վայրկյան։

Սյունիքի մարզպետի խոսքով՝ եկողների մեծ մասը կանայք և երեխաներ են, իսկ որոշ ընտանիքներ նույնիսկ տեղեկություն չունեն իրենց ընտանիքի մյուս անդամների մասին և չեն ցանկանում Գորիսից հեռանալ Երևան կամ այլ վայր, քանի որ ուզում են սպասել իրենց ընտանիքի կորած անդամներին։

Բացի այդ, դժվարություն է ստեղծում նաև այն հանգամանքը, որ Լաչինի միջանցքում կապ չկա, իսկ մեքենաների շարասյունը ձգվում է մի քանի կիլոմետր, և ոչ ոք չի կարող հասնել բուժօգնության կարիք ունեցող, ծանր կացության մեջ գտնվող մարդկանց։

Փաուերը նաև հետաքրքրվեց, թե ինչու է խցանումն այդքան երկար ձգվում։ Ռոբերտ Ղուկասյանը տեղեկացրեց, որ ճանապարհին բազմաթիվ մեքենաներ փչացել են, հարյուրավոր մեքենաներ բենզին չունեն, շատերը հրելով հասցնում են մեքենաները մինչև Լաչինի միջանցք՝ հույսով, որ այնտեղ թեկուզ քիչ քանակությամբ բենզին կգտնեն, որպեսզի կարողանան հասնել մոտակա քաղաք և լիցքավորել։

«Շատ դեպքերում էլ մարդիկ գալիս են, իսկ նրանց իրերը որևէ մեծ բեռնատարում են, և նրանք ստիպված են այստեղ սպասել, մինչև իրենց իրերը հասնեն», - ասաց Ղուկասյանը։

«Մենք եկել ենք՝ աջակցելու և ավելի շատ հումանիտար օգնություն տրամադրելու, սակայն գիտեմ, որ ոչ մի տեսակի հումանիտար օգնություն չի կարող սփոփել այն տառապանքները, որ մարդիկ տեսել են և որոնց միջով անցնում են այժմ», - նշեց Սամանթա Փաուերը։
