Սեպտեմբերի 21-ին ավտովթար է տեղի ունեցել Արարատի մարզում: Ժամը 23:00-ի սահմաններում Սյունիքի մարզի բնակիչ 23-ամյա Հունան Գ.-ն իր վարած ВАЗ 2104 մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայով Մասիս քաղաքի Շիրազի փողոցում դուրս է եկել երթևեկելի գոտուց, բախվել թիվ 5 հասցեի շինության պատին:Ինչպես հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, վթարի հետևանքով Հունան Գ.-ն, նրա ուղևորներ 34-ամյա Նարինե Հ.-ն, 8-ամյա Դավիթ Գ.-ն, 8-ամյա Էմանուել Ա.-ն և 10-ամյա Մարիետա Ա.-ն մարմնական վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել են «Մասիս» բժշկական կենտրոն, որտեղից երեխաները տեղափոխվել են Երևանի «Սուրբ Աստվածամայր» բժշկական կենտրոն:
Վիրավորներին առաջինն օգնության են հասել քաղաքացիները և օպերատիվ են գործել «Մասիս» բժշկական կենտրոնի շտապօգնության բժիշկների հերթապահ խմբերը, ովքեր վիրավորներին մինչև հիվանդանոցներ տեղափոխելը տեղում առաջին բուժօգնությունն են ցուցաբերել:
Օպերատիվորեն ժամանել են նաև ՀՀ Ներքին գործերի նախարարության Ոստիկանության Ճանապարհային ոստիկանության 2-րդ սպայական գումարտակի 1-ին վաշտի 2-րդ դասակի ծառայողները՝ վաշտի հրամանատար Մառլեն Սարգսյանի, դասակի հրամանատար Արտյոմ Բեկլարյանի գլխավորությամբ:Օպերատիվորեն ժամանել են նաև ՀՀ ՆԳՆ Ոստիկանության Մասիսի բաժնի հերթապահ խումբը՝ համայնքային ոստիկանության բաժանմունքի տեսուչ Համբարձումյանի գլխավորությամբ:
Վթարի մասին ՀՀ ՆԳՆ ՃՈ 1-77 օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոնի պատասխանատու հերթապահ Միհրան Միրզոյանը տեղեկությունը փոխանցել է Հայաստանի քննչական կոմիտեի Արարատի մարզային քննչական վարչության Մասիսի քննչական բաժին, որտեղից ժամանել է քննչական խումբը՝ օրվա պատասխանատու հերթապահ քննիչի գլխավորությամբ:Վթարի փաստով Մասիսի քննչական բաժնում նախաձեռնվել է վարույթ:
