Շատ մտավորականներ հավաքվել են Քննչական կոմիտեի Արաբկիրի բաժնի մոտ՝ իրենց բողոքն արտահայտելու «Մայր Հայաստան» շարժման առաջնորդ Անդրանիկ Թևանյանին խաղաղ անհնազանդության ակցիայից հետո բերման ենթարկելու և քննչական գործողություններ իրականացնելու դեմ։
 
«Տարածաշրջանում 2 պետություն կա, որոնք ցանկացած պահի, ցանկացած մարդու, առանց որոշակի հոդաբաշխ բացատրության կարող են ձերբակալել կամ բերման ենթարկել։ Մարդու ազատ տեղաշարժի և ազատ արտահայտվելու իրավունքը հիմնավորապես ցեխոտված է»,-ասաց Սերժ Սրապիոնյանը։
 
Ստեղծվել է իրավիճակ, նշեց նա, երբ իրավապահներն այլևս չեն մտածում, որ դիմացինի իրավունքները խախտելու համար պատասխան են տալու․ Հայաստանը երբեք չի եղել այսպիսին։
 
«Ապօրինի գործողությունների բուն նպատակը արթնացող ժողովրդին նորից նիվանայի մեջ գցելն է, հուսահատության հասցնելը։ Գործող պաշտոնյաների համար սա սովորական երևույթ է»,-նշեց Սերժ Սրապիոնյանը։ Ժողովուրդը պիտի վերադառնա ժողովրդի իր կարգավիճակին՝ ամբոխացումը պետք է վերացվի՝ ասաց գրականագետը և հավելեց․ամբոխացումից արթնացում ընդամենը մեկ քայլ է։
Նշենք, որ Անդրանիկ Թևանյանին խաղաղ անհնազանդության ակցիայից հետո նախ՝ բերման էին ենթարկել Ոստիկանության Էրեբունու բաժին, ապա վարչական վարույթի շրջանակում տեղափոխել քննչական կոմիտե։ Նրա փաստաբան Հովհաննես Խուդոյանը նշել է, որ քրեադատավարական որևէ հիմք չի ներկայացվել։ Կոմիտեում փաստաբանին թույլ չեն տվել հանդիպել Թևանյանին, զրկել են իրավական օգնությունից, խոչընդոտել նրա մասնագիտական գործունեությունը։ Փաստաբանը զրկված եմ նաև հնարավորությունից վստահորդին դեղորայք փոխանցելու, թեև տեղեկացրել են դրա անհրաժեշտության մասին։
