«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Նախօրեին ու երեկ, երբ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ու նրա քպական թիմակիցների վարած «քաղաքականության» հետևանքով արդեն Ստեփանակերտ հասած բարբարոս թշնամին հայերին կոտորում ու կրակի տակ էր պահում, նույն ՔՊ «կարկառուններից» շատերը մի առանձնահատուկ ակտիվության մեջ էին ընկել: Երևի «շեֆից» ստացված հրահանգով, մեկը մյուսին հերթ չտալով, ոմանք նաև հրճվանքախառն գրառումներ էին անում՝ խոսելով ինքնիշխանությունից, անկախությունից, հայրենասիրությունից: Իսկ վարչապետի աշխատակազմի ղեկավար, ոչ անհայտ Արայիկ Հարությունյանը մի վերամբարձ տոն վերցրած հեգնում էր, թե բա՝ «ա՜յ, որ մեզ ընտրեի՜ք...»: Բոլորին չթվարկենք , ուղղակի արձանագրենք, որ նրանք իրականության զգացողությունը կորցրածի տպավորություն են թողնում:

Դեռ չենք խոսում «Եռաբլուր» գնացած քպական «ակսակալների» մասին, որոնց հետ բոլորը տեսան, թե ինչ կատարվեց: Չենք խոսում բախտի բերմամբ պատգամավոր դարձած մի երկուսի մասին, որոնք բարդ բառերով գրած տեքստերը ոգևորված իրենց պատին են դնում: Բառեր, որոնց իմաստն իրենք էլ չեն հասկանում՝ «հիբրիդային պատերազմից» սկսած... Կարելի է ենթադրել, որ Փաշինյանի «առաջին շարքի» թիմակիցներն այդպես ոգևորվել, այդպես չարախնդում ու հրճվում էին իրենց «հատուկ պարապեցված» գույնզգույնաբերետավոր «ոստիկանների» վայրագ վարքից, փողոց ելած հայ մարդկանց վրա իրականացրած վայրենի հարձակում-խոշտանգումներից:

Քպական կարկառուններից ինքնիշխանության, պետության, պետականության, հայրենիքի մասին խոսքերն ինքնին զավեշտական են հնչում, ավելի ճիշտ՝ տխուր ու աղետային ազդեցություն են թողնում: Էլ չասած՝ նրանց դրսևորած, այսպես ասենք՝ «հայրենասիրական պաթոսը»: Հիմա այս՝ իշխանություն դարձած քպականները «հայրենասիրական պաթոսի» աստառի տակ երկիր են կործանում: Սա երևի իսկը այն դեպքն է, երբ արժե գործածել հանրահայտ խոսքը այն մասին, թե ո՛ւմ վերջին հանգրվանն է «հայրենասիրական պաթոսը»:
