Իրանը և ԱՄՆ-ն այսօր իրականացնեն բանտարկյալների փոխանակում՝ «5-ը 5-ի դիմաց» ձևաչափով. այս մասին երկուշաբթի հայտարարել է Իրանի արտգործնախարարության խոսնակ Նասեր Քանանին, գրում է ԻՌՆԱ-ն:
«ԱՄՆ բանտերում գտնվող Իրանի հինգ քաղաքացի և Իրանում գտնվող հինգ ամերիկացի բանտարկյալ այսօր ազատ կարձակվեն»,- իր ամենշաբաթյա ասուլիսում նշել է Քանանին՝ հավելելով, որ Իրանի երկու քաղաքացի իրենց կամքով վերադառնում են հայրենիք, մեկ իրանցի բանտարկյալ կմիանա իր ընտանիքին երրորդ երկրում, և ևս երկու քաղաքացի ցանկանում են մնալ ԱՄՆ-ում։
Բացի այդ, Քանանիի խոսքով՝ հարավկորեական բանկերում Իրանի սառեցված ակտիվներն այժմ ամբողջությամբ գտնվում են Իսլամական Հանրապետության տրամադրության տակ: Թեհրանի և Վաշինգտոնի միջև պայմանավորվածության շրջանակում Իրանին հասանելի կլինի 6 միլիարդ դոլարը, որը սառեցվել է հարավկորեական բանկերի հաշիվներում՝ ԱՄՆ պատժամիջոցների պատճառով։
Քանանին չի բացառել Նյու Յորքում միջնորդների միջոցով պատժամիջոցների վերացման շուրջ բանակցությունների հնարավորությունը:
«ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր վեհաժողովի շրջանակում հնարավոր են բանակցություններ պատժամիջոցների վերացման շուրջ միջնորդների միջոցով»,- նշել է դիվանագետը։
Իրանի նախագահ Էբրահիմ Ռաիսին երեկ երեկոյան մեկնել է Նյու Յորք՝ մասնակցելու ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր վեհաժողովի 78-րդ նստաշրջանին։
«Այս հանդիպումը լավ հնարավորություն է մասնակից երկրների ղեկավարների հետ երկխոսության համար»,- նշել է Քանանին։
«Իրանը հավատարիմ է դիվանագիտական միջոցների կիրառմանը՝ ժողովրդի իրավունքները վերականգնելու համար։ Մենք միջուկային գործարքի բոլոր կողմերին վերադարձնելու համար երկխոսության խոչընդոտներ չունենք»,- նշել է նա։
