«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի՝ իշխանության ղեկին հայտնվելուց հետո նրա ամենասիրելի քաղաքական գործիքը եղել է իրավապահ համակարգի միջոցով ընդդիմադիրների նկատմամբ քաղաքական ճնշումներ իրականացնելու պրակտիկան: Լրատվամիջոցները, քաղաքական գործիչները, իրավաբաններն անընդհատ ահազանգում են, որ իշխանությունների հրահանգով քաղաքական գործեր են «կարվում»:

Մշտապես նշվել է նաև, որ այդ գործերի, վարույթների գերակշիռ մեծամասնությունը պարզապես «ջուր» է։ Մենք ոչ մեկ անգամ տեղեկացրել ենք, որ իրավապահները պարզապես կրակն են ընկել այդ գործերի ձեռքը. դրանք «մինչև վերջ» հասցնել չեն կարողանում, քանի որ հիմքեր չկան, կարճելու համար էլ «վերևից» ուղիղ թույլտվություն է պետք: Մյուս կողմից՝ նման գործերի քանակն այնքան շատ է, որ քննիչները չեն հասցնում այլ գործերի «անդրադառնալ»: «Փաստ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, Քննչական կոմիտեն վերջին շաբաթների ընթացքում մոտ մեկ տասնյակի հասնող՝ իրավաբանների կողմից քաղաքական որակվող գործեր է կարճել։

Թերթի աղբյուրը հայտնում է, որ քննիչները «մեղադրյալներին» կանչել են «հարցաքննության» և տեղում հասկացել, որ իրականում ոչ մի հանցակազմ չկա, ինչից հետո համապատասխան ձևակերպումներ են արել և դատախազներին միջնորդել, որ տվյալ գործերը կարճվեն։ Ի դեպ, կան տեղեկություններ, որ առաջիկայում կարող են կարճվել նաև բավական աղմկահարույց գործեր՝ հնչեղ անուններով: Թե ինչի հետ է կապված այս կտրուկ շրջադարձը, ճշտել չհաջողվեց, սակայն, մեր աղբյուրը հայտնում է, որ այս հանգամանքը անգամ փաստաբանների շրջանում է զարմանք առաջացրել:
