Պաշտոնական Մոսկվան ցավակցություններ է հայտնել Բաղդադում և Ստամբուլում տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչության զոհերի բարեկամներին և հարազատներին, ավելացնելով, որ տեղի ունեցածը հաստատում է ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարում միջազգային հանրության ջանքերի անհապաղ միավորման անհրաժեշտությունը: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանց մամբ, այդ մասին նշված է ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության տարածած հայտարարության մեջ:

«Հունվարի 11-ին Բաղդադում և 12-ին Ստամբոլում տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչությունների հետ կապված խորին ցավակցություն ենք հայտնում զոհերի բոլոր հարազատներին և բարեկամներին: Բոլոր վիրավորներին մաղթում ենք շուտափոյթ ապաքինում: Այդ ցինիկ հանցագործությունները, որոնց արդարացում լինել չի կարող, հերթական անգամ ցույց տվեցին միջազգային ահաբեկչության  դաժանությունները, առավել ևս, որ նման ստոր գործողությունների զոհ է դառնում խաղաղ բնակչությունը, այդ թվում արտասահմանցիներ»,- նշված է հայտարարության մեջ:  

Բաղդադում տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչությունների հետևանքով հունվարի 11-ին զոհվել է ավելի քան 50 մարդ, 90-ից ավելին ստացել է մարմնական տարբեր աստիճանի վնասվածք: Ստամբուլում հունվարի 12-ին տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչության 10 զոհերից 9-ը եղել են Գերմանիայիքաղաքացիներ: Ավելի վաղ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել էր, որպայթյունն իրագործել է ծագումով սիրիացի 27-ամյա մահապարտը: Թուրքիայի իշխանություններնարգելել են ԶԼՄ-ներին Ստամբուլում տեղի ունեցած պայթյունի հետ կապված լուրեր հրապարակել:
