Հայաստանի իշխանությունն Արցախը տանում է կործանման։ «Արցախի անվտանգության և զարգացման ճակատի» համակարգող, նախկին պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանն է այդ մասին ասել հարցազրույցներից մեկում։ Հարցին, թե արդյոք Արցախը հնարավորություն ունի իր ռեսուրսներով դիմակայել Ադրբեջանին, Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը նշել է, թե Հայաստանի իշխանությունն Արցախի վերաբերյալ իր դիրքորոշումը պետք է փոխի, իսկ հասարակությունը պետք է հասկանա իրավիճակը և ճնշում գործադրի իշխանության վրա, հնարավոր չէ պահպանել Սոթքը կամ Սյունիքը, եթե Հայաստանի իշխանությունը չփոխի իր դիրքորոշումը, իսկ եթե դիրքորոշումը չի փոխվում, պետք է փոխվեն իրենք, որովհետև գործող իշխանությունների քաղաքականությունը կործանարար է, թե՛ Արցախի, թե՛ Հայաստանի համար։
Նախկին պետնախարարն ընդգծել է, թե առանց Հայաստանի Արցախը շանս չունի, իսկ Ադրբեջանը միայն Արցախով չի սահմանափակվելու։ Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը կտրուկ դեմ է արտահայտվել «Արցախն Ադրբեջանի կազմում ճանաչելու» մոտեցմանը՝ դա համարելով դավաճանություն։ Նաև նշում է, թե Արցախում զգալի աշխատանքներ են տարվում նույնիսկ այս պայմաններում՝ Արցախում պաշտպանության մակարդակը բարձրացնելու ուղղությամբ։
Մինչ «Արցախի անվտանգության և զարգացման ճակատի» համակարգողն ու նրա գործընկերները փորձում են գոնե ինչ որ առումով բեկել իրավիճակը, ապահովել արցախցիների ապրուստն ու անվտանգությունը, Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները շարունակում են իրենց ապիկար և դավաճանական քաղաքականությունը։ Ոչ միայն Արցախից են ձայներ հնչում՝ կոչ անելով վերջ տալ այս քաղաքականությանը, այլ նաև Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին, տարբեր Սփյուռքի գաղթօջախներ արձանագրում են, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի քաղաքականությունը լուրջ խնդիրներ է հարուցում Հայաստանի և Արցախի համար։ Գործող իշխանությունների այս վարքը վկայում է, որ նրանք հրաշալի գիտակցում են, թե ինչ են անում, եթե նախկինում հնարավոր էր ամեն ինչ բարդել անփորձության և ապիկարության, չհասկանալու վրա, ապա այսօր արդեն բոլոր այս կոչերից հետո կարելի է վստահ արձանագրել, որ մենք գործ ունենք ոչ թե ապիկար և անփորձ իշխանությունների, այլ հստակ «քոքված» դավաճանների հետ, որոնք ոչնչի առջև կանգ չեն առնում։
