Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն ընդունել է Հնդկաստանի ազգային պաշտպանության քոլեջի հրամանատար, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Սուկրիտի Սինգհ Դահիյային: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել է նաև Հայաստանում Հնդկաստանի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Նիլակշի Սահա Սինհան:
Ողջունելով հյուրին, նախագահը նշել է.
«Մեր բարեկամությունը դարերի պատմություն ունի և Հայաստանի անկախացումից հետո մենք շարունակելով այդ ավանդույթը և դիվանագիտական հարաբերություններ հաստատելով Հնդկաստանի հետ, ամեն ինչ արել ենք, որպեսզի մեր հարաբերությունները դինամիկ զարգացում ունենան:
Անցած տարում մենք նշեցինք մեր երկրների միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման 30-ամյակը և հիմա էլ մենք շարունակում ենք նոր հնարավորություններ գտնել մեր հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացման ու ընդլայնման համար և այս առումով ևս Ձեր այցը կարևոր նշանակություն ունի»:
Գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Սուկրիտի Սինգհ Դահիյան շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ընդունելության համար և նշել է, որ ուրախ է Հայաստան այցելելու համար:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են Հայաստանի և Հնդկաստանի միջև առկա սերտ համագործակցության հետագա զարգացման ուղղություններն ու ոլորտները:
Շեշտվել է բարձր տեխնոլոգիաների, առողջապահության, գյուղատնտեսության, պաշտպանական և այլ բնագավառներում առկա փոխգործակցության մեծ ներուժի իրականացման կարևորությունը:
Զրույցի ընթացքում անդրադարձ է կատարվել ռազմական կրթության ոլորտում փորձի փոխանակման համատեղ ծրագրերի իրականացման հնարավորությանը:
Մտքեր են փոխանակվել տարածաշրջանային ընդհանուր իրողություններին ինչի կապակցությամբ նախագահ Խաչատուրյանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը հաստատակամ է կայուն և հարատև խաղաղության հասնելու իր դիրքորոշման մեջ և շարժվում է այդ ուղղությամբ:
