«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Երեկ «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության համահիմնադիր, նախընտրական շտաբի ղեկավար Մեսրոպ Առաքել յանը հրավիրած մամուլի ասուլիսում ամփոփեց նախընտրական քարոզարշավի մեկ շաբաթը: Ի մասնավոի, նա նշեց, որ Երևանի վարչական շրջանների կեսից ավելիում քարոզարշավ են իրականացրել. «Անվստահության և հուսահատության հիմնական պատճառն այն է, որ Երևանում կան բազմաթիվ փոքր, կենցաղային խնդիրներ, որոնց լուծումը օրերի հարց է: Մարդիկ ահազանգում են, որ տասնամյակներով այդ խնդիրները չեն լուծվել, փոխանցվում է մեզ»: Առաքել յանը նաև նշում է, որ բոլոր սոցհարցումներով հասարակության գերակշիռ մասն ունի կոնսենսուս, որ գործող իշխանությունները պետք է հեռանան. «Կա մի կարևոր կոնսենսուս՝ բացառված է նախկինների վերադարձը: Ներկաները պետք է գնան, նախկինները չպետք է վերադառնան»:

Մեսրոպ Առաքել յանը նաև հաստատեց, որ «ընտրական տասովշիկների» համակարգը իսկապես կա, գործում է. «Թվում էր՝ արդեն պիտի արխիվի մաս հանդիսանային, բայց այսօր ՔՊ-ի համար թաղերում, օրինակ՝ մեր թաղում, որտեղ ես ապրում եմ, այնպիսի մարդիկ են աշխատում, որ 2018-ին լույսի արագությամբ ուզում էին փախչել ՀՀ-ից, որ չդատվեն ու հիմա այնպես հավեսով են աշխատում Ավինյանի համար, որ այդքան հավեսով չեն աշխատել Քոչարյանի ու Սերժ Սարգսյանի համար»: Լրագրողներից մեկի հարցին՝ իշխող ուժի թեկնածուն խուսափում է Արցախի հետ կապված հարցերից, և երբ լրագրողներն անգամ հարց են ուղղում, նա խուսանավում է, դրան զուգահեռ՝ մենք տեսնում ենք, որ Փարիզի քաղաքապետն է զբաղվում Արցախի հարցով, եկել հասել է ՀՀ, ՔՊ-ի թեկնածուն դա չի անում, ո՞րն է պատճառը այդ խուսանավման՝ ունեն մեղքի՞ զգացողություն, կա՞ օբյեկտիվ բացատրություն, Առաքել յանը պատասխանեց. «Ես զարմանում եմ, որ դուք զարմանում եք:

ՔՊ-ի դիրքորոշումը Արցախի հարցով հստակ է, մարդիկ Արցախը ճանաչում են Ադրբեջանի կազմում: Հիմա ուզում եմ հասկանալ՝ քաղաքապետի թեկնածուից այլ դիրքորոշում ստանալու հետ կապված ինչի եք սպասում: Հստակ հայտարարել են Արցախը Ադրբեջանի կազմում, դրանից հետո ինչի՞ եք տանջում այդ մարդկանց: Չեմ կարծում, որ դուք կամ հանրությունը այլ ակնկալիքներ պիտի գեներացնեք, հետո, երբ չի ստանում՝ այդ ակնկալիքները, հուսահատվի: Տիգրան Ավինյանը ի՞նչ դիրքորոշում պիտի հայտնի, քարոզարշավի այս թեժ պահին ասի՝ ես է՞լ եմ ճանաչում Ադրբեջանի կազմում: Ես ցավում եմ, որ ՀՀ իշխանությունը Արցախը ճանաչում է Ադրբեջանի կազմում»:
