Օգոստոսի 25-ին՝  հունիսի 15-ին տեղացած ուժեղ կարկուտի հետևանքով Տավուշի և Լոռու մարզերի առավել տուժած 2268 անձ (Տավուշից՝ 427 և Լոռուց՝ 1796)՝ 428 ընտանիք, Հայկական կարմիր խաչի ընկերության (ՀԿԽԸ) կողմից ստացել է կանխիկ աջակցություն՝ աղետի հետևանքները փոքր ինչ մեղմելու նպատակով։ Յուրաքանչյուր անձի «Հայփոստի» միջոցով տրամադրվել է 38 000 ՀՀ դրամ, ընդհանուր առմամբ  փոխանցվել է՝  86 184 000 ՀՀ դրամ։   

Հայկական կարմիր խաչի ընկերությանը մարդասիրական աջակցության համար ֆինանսական միջոցները տրամադրել է Կարմիր խաչի և Կարմիր մահիկի ընկերությունների միջազգային ֆեդերացիայի Աղետներին արձագանքման արտակարգ իրավիճակների ֆոնդը։

ՀԿԽԸ-ն առավել տուժած ընտանիքների կարիքների անհատական գնահատում և ցուցակների վերջնական ճշգրտում իրականացրել է Տավուշի և Լոռու մարզերի տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմինների  հետ սերտ համագործակցությամբ։ 

Կանխիկ աջակցությունը տրամադրվել է բերքի 75-ից 100 տոկոսը և տնային կենդանիներ կորցրած, բնակելի հատվածներն ակնհայտ վնասված տնտեսություններին՝ հետևյալ չափանիշներին համապատասխան․

Հինգից ավելի անդամից բաղկացած, այդ թվում՝ մինչև 18 տարեկան երկու կամ ավելի երեխաներ ունեցող  ընտանիքներին,

Հինգից ավելի անդամից բաղկացած, այդ թվում՝ երկու կամ ավելի հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անդամներով ընտանիքներին,

Մինչև 18 տարեկան միակողմանի ծնողազուրկ երկու կամ ավելի երեխաներ ունեցող ընտանիքներին

Մինչև 18 տարեկան երեք կամ ավելի երեխաներ ունեցող ընտանիքներ

Միայն տարեցներից՝ 65 և բարձր տարիքի մարդկանցից, բաղկացած ընտանիքներին

Ընտանիքներին, որոնց եկամտի միակ աղբյուրը վնասված գյուղատնտեսական միջոցներն էին։

Հայկական կարմիր խաչի ընկերությունը (ՀԿԽԸ), լինելով Կարմիր խաչի և Կարմիր մահիկի միջազգային շարժման լիիրավ անդամ, առաջնորդվում է  Շարժման հիմնարար սկզբունքներով` Մարդասիրություն, Անկողմնակալություն, Չեզոքություն, Անկախություն, Կամավորություն, Եզակիություն, Համընդհանրություն։

Հանդիսանալով կառավարությանն աջակցող կառույց՝ մարդասիրական ոլորտում, ՀԿԽԸ-ն արդեն 103 տարի է գործունեություն է ծավալում հանրապետության ամբողջ տարածքում հետևյալ ռազմավարական ուղղություններով՝ աղետների կառավարում, բնակչության տեղաշարժ, սոցիալ – առողջապահություն, առաջին օգնություն, երիտասարդների հիմնախնդիրներին արձագանք, մարդասիրական արժեքների տարածում և այլն:

ՀԿԽԸ առաքելությունն է նվազեցնել բնակչության խոցելիությունը` մարդասիրության ուժի մոբիլիզացմամբ, նախապատրաստվել դիմակայելու այն իրավիճակներին, որոնք կարող են բնակչության խոցելիության պատճառ դառնալ, ցուցաբերել անհրաժեշտ օգնություն` սատարելով սոցիալ-տնտեսական ծանր պայմաններում գտնվող մարդկանց:
