ԱՄՆ-ն կոչ է անում Ադրբեջանին վերաբացել Լաչինի միջանցքը

Միացյալ Նահանգները կոչ է արել Ադրբեջանին վերականգնել ազատ տեղաշարժը Լաչինի միջանցքով՝ Վաշինգտոնում լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ պետքարատուղարության փոխխոսնակ Վեդաթ Փաթելը, փոխանցում է Ամերիկայի Ձայնը։
Ամերիկացի դիվանագետն ընդգծել է՝ Լաչինի միջանցքի փակումը «վատթարեցնում է հումանիտար իրավիճակը և խաթարում խաղաղ գործընթացի նկատմամբ վստահություն ստեղծելու ջանքերը»՝ միաժամանակ կոչ անելով Ադրբեջանի կառավարությանը «վերականգնել մարդասիրական և մասնավոր մեքենաների ազատ տեղաշարժն այս միջանցքով»:
«Խորապես մտահոգված ենք Լաչինի միջանցքի շարունակական փակմամբ՝ առևտրային, մարդասիրական և մասնավոր մեքենաների համար: Այս տեսակի մարդասիրական տեղաշարժերի դադարեցումը, մեր կարծիքով, վատթարեցնում է հումանիտար իրավիճակը և խաթարում խաղաղ գործընթացի նկատմամբ վստահություն ստեղծելու ջանքերը: Կոչ ենք անում Ադրբեջանի կառավարությանը վերականգնել մարդասիրական և մասնավոր մեքենաների ազատ տեղաշարժն այս միջանցքով։ Նաև տեղյակ ենք, որ չորեքշաբթի ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհուրդը հանդիպում է գումարում ՝ քննարկելու Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հարցը: Ակնկալում ենք, որ այնտեղ նույնպես տեղի կունենան հավելյալ քննարկումներ»,- ասել է Վեդաթ Փաթելը։
Միևնույն ժամանակ, փոխխոսնակը հրաժարվել է ներկայացնել, թե ԱՄՆ-ն ինչ դիրքորոշում է որդեգրելու Անվտանգության խորհրդում, սակայն նշել է․ «Հետևողականորեն ընդգծել ու կրկնել ենք այն փաստը, որ ուղիղ երկխոսությունը էական նշանակություն ունի այս երկարատև հակամարտությունը կարգավորելու համար։ Կարծում ենք, որ ցանկացած ներգրավվածություն, որն ի վերջո խաղաղություն և կայունություն կբերի Հարավային Կովկասի ժողովուրդներին, լավ երևույթ է և դրական քայլ»։
