Rupec.ru-ն գրում է, որ չինական նավթավերամշակման և նավթաքիմիական ընկերությունները տասնյակ միլիարդավոր դոլարներ են ներդնում արևային մարտկոցների և լիթիում-իոնային մարտկոցների համար քիմիական նյութեր արտադրելու նպատակով: Դրա շնորհիվ ընկերություններն ակնկալում են շահույթ ստանալ էներգիայի անցումային տեխնոլոգիաների և այդ նպատակին օգտագործվող նյութերի աճող պահանջարկից:
Չինաստանն նման կերպ ձգտում է նվազեցնել իր կախվածությունը ներմուծումից և էլ ավելի ամրապնդել իր գերակայությունը վերականգնվող էներգիայի և էլեկտրական մեքենաների մատակարարման շղթաներում։
Չինական Wanhua Chemical-ը, Zhejiang Petrochemical Corp-ը և Hengli Petrochemical-ը, ինչպես նաև պետական նավթային հսկան Sinopec-ը, պոլիեսթեր գործվածքների և պլաստիկ փաթեթավորման ավելի պարզ նավթաքիմիական արտադրանքներից անցնում են ավելի բարձր արժեք ունեցող ապրանքների արտադրության, ինչպիսիք են օրինակ պոլիոլեֆինային էլաստոմերները, որոնք օգտագործվում են արևային վահանակի տարրերի պաշտպանության համար, գերբարձր մոլեկուլային քաշի պոլիէթիլենը, որը օգտագործվում է լիթիում-իոնային մարտկոցների բաժանարարների համար և ածխածնային մանրաթելը հողմատուրբինի շեղբերների համար։
«Ավելորդ հզորությունը և ապրանքային քիմիական նյութերի թույլ պահանջարկը, ինչպես նաև Չինաստանի արագ զարգացող արդյունաբերությունները, ինչպիսիք են արևային էներգիան և էլեկտրական մեքենաները, հիմնական գործոններն են, որոնք ընկերություններին մղում են ընդլայնել բարձր արդյունավետության նման նյութերի արտադրությունը», — ասում է Շանհայի Wood Mackenzie խորհրդատվական ընկերության գլխավոր վերլուծաբան Քելլի Կույը:
ZPC-ն, Hengli-ը և վերամշակող Shandong Chambroad Petrochemical ընկերությունը բազմամիլիարդանոց համալիրներ են կառուցում նոր նյութեր արտադրելու համար, որոնք պետք է սկսեն արտադրությունը մոտ 2025 թվականին։
Sinopec Corp-ը՝ երկրի նավթավերամշակման և հիմնական քիմիական նյութերի խոշորագույն արտադրողը անցնում է բարձր տեխնոլոգիական քիմիական նյութերի արտադրության, ինչպիսիք են էթիլեն վինիլացետատը (EVA) արևային մարտկոցների և օդանավերում օգտագործվող բարձր հզորությամբ ածխածնային մանրաթելերի համար:
