ԲՀԿ աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Իվետա Տոնոյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.
Բարգավաճ Հայաստան կուսակցությունը չի մասնակցելու Երևանի ավագանու առաջիկա ընտրություններին և չի սատարելու քաղաքական ուժերից որևէ մեկին
Կուսակցության անդամների, տարածքային կառույցների ներկայացուցիչների հետ բաց և բարդ քննարկումների արդյունքում ի վերջո որոշվել է, որ Բարգավաճ Հայաստան կուսակցությունը չի մասնակցելու Երևանի ավագանու առաջիկա ընտրություններին և չի սատարելու քաղաքական ուժերից որևէ մեկին։
Չեմ թաքցնում, եղել են տարբեր տեսակետներ, հնչել են տարբեր փաստարկներ և հակափաստարկներ։
Վերջնական որոշումը կայացվել է հիմնական երկու գործոնների ազդեցության տակ.
1. Կուսակցությունն այս պահին գտնվում է վերափոխումների ինտենսիվ փուլում, կառուցվածքային և բովանդակային ռեֆորմացիայի ճանապարհին։
2. Այս պահին, Արցախի շուրջ տիրող իրավիճակով պայմանավորված, մեր հասարակության մեջ առկա չէ Երևանի զարգացման և քաղաքային խնդիրների շուրջ իրական բանավիճային և քննարկումային մթնոլորտ։
