«Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության համահիմնադիր Մեսրոպ Առաքելյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.
 
Գիշերը կրակոցներ են եղել Երևանում, կա զոհ։ Վիճակագրությունն է փաստում, որ հանրապետությունում գրանցված հանցագործությունների գրեթե կեսը բաժին է ընկնում Երևանին։
 
Միևնույն ժամանակ, հանցագործությունների թվի աճին զուհագեռ նվազում է դրանց բացահայտման թիվը։
2022 թվականի ընթացքում Երևան քաղաքում գրանցվել է հանցագործության 21 հազար 604 դեպք։ 2021–ին հանցագործությունների թիվը եղել է 16 հազար 438: Բացահայտումը կազմել է 30.5%՝ 2021-ի 49.6%-ի դիմաց։
 
Իհարկե, վիճակագրության մասին իմ ահազանգն ահաբեկելու համար չէ, այլ՝ ուշադրություն հրավիրելու՝ Երևանը օր օրի հեռանում է մարդուց, անվտանգ ու ապահով լինելուց։ Սա կանգնեցնելու համար ամենօրյա ու հետևողական աշխատանք է պետք, համակարգային մոտեցումներ են անհրաժեշտ։
 
Ապահով Երևան ունենալը պետք է լինի ոչ միայն իրավապահ մարմինների ամենօրյա գործունեության արդյունքը, այլ նաև և ավելի շատ քաղաքային իշխանությունների գործողությունների տրամաբանությունը․․․
 
Ժամանակակից աշխարհում, քաղաքակիրթ քաղաքներում գիշերային ժամերին չլուսավորված փողոցներ չկան, հանցագործությունները նվազագույնի են հասցված տեսախցիկների առկայության շնորհիվ․․․
 
Իսկ մենք դեռ փողոցային լուսավորությունն ենք միայն մեկ ժամով ավելացնում։
