Ռուսաստանի նախագահի խոսնակ Դմիտրի Պեսկովը հերքել է The New York Times-ի` իր խոսքերի մեկնաբանությունը, որն իրեն է վերագրում «2024 թվականին Վլադիմիր Պուտինը կվերընտրվի ձայների ավելի քան 90%-ով» արտահայտությունը:

Ամերիկյան թերթերից մեկը, ինչպես հայտնել ենք, կիրակի օրը հրապարակել է հոդված՝ մեջբերելով Կրեմլի խոսնակին, և ըստ The New York Times-ի, Պեսկովը Ռուսաստանի ընտրություններն անվանել է ոչ այնքան ժողովրդավարական, որքան «թանկ բյուրոկրատիա» և ասել, որ «Պուտինը կվերընտրվի հաջորդ տարի ձայների ավելի քան 90 տոկոսով»։ The New York Times-ում հրապարակված այս նյութի հեղինակը լրագրող Ռոջեր Քոհենն է:

«Ոչ, դա բացարձակապես սխալ է մեկնաբանվել այս հոդվածի հեղինակի կողմից»,- ՏԱՍՍ-ին ասել է Պեսկովը։ Նա հավելել ք, որ իսկապես հանդիպել ու զրուցել է այդ լրագրողի հետ, և հարցերից մեկը վերաբերում էր ընտրություններին։ «Եվ պատասխանը հետևյալն էր. նախագահի շուրջ հասարակության համախմբվածության մակարդակը բացարձակապես աննախադեպ է, և հիմա էլ կարող ենք ասել, որ եթե նա առաջադրվի, ապա կվերընտրվի հսկայական առավելությամբ, իսկ ընտրություններն իրենք տեսականորեն ուղղակի հավելյալ ծախսեր կլինեն»։

Սակայն, Պեսկովի խոսքով, ինքը հոդվածի հեղինակին ասել են, որ «նախագահն ինքն է ասել և պնդել, որ ընտրություններ պետք է պարտադիր լինեն, որ դա ժողովրդավարության պահանջ է»։ 

Նախագահական ընտրությունները Ռուսաստանում տեղի կունենան 2024 թվականի մարտին։

Պուտինն իրավունք ունի առաջադրվելու նոր պաշտոնավարման համար, սակայն դեռ չի խոսել այս հարցի առնչությամբ իր որոշման մասին։
