Հիշեցնեմ, որ մամուլով և Մխիթարյանի հարազատների ու համածառայակիցների պնդմամբ, ԶՈւ փոխգնդապետ Արա Մխիթարյանի նկատմամբ հարձակմանը մասնակցել է քպ Վայոց ձորի նախկին մարզպետն (ներկայումս պատգամավոր) ու նրա շրջապատը:
Փաստացի իշխանությունը ոչ միայն փորձում է մաքրել սպայի սպանության գործով անցնող իշխանական շայկային, այլ նոր քրեական գործերով փորձում է ճնշել այն սպաներին, ովքեր ոչ միայն փորձել են կանխել փոխգնդապետ Մխիթարյանի սպանությունը, այլ չվախենալով իշխանության ստորություններից, իրենց ցուցմունքներով հաստատել են բոլոր այն անձանց շրջանակը, որոնք տարբեր մասնակցություն են ունեցել ողբերգական միջադեպի օրը:
