«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է
Նախօրեին Ստեփանակերտի Վերածննդի հրապարակում արցախցիները, կենդանի շղթա կազմած, «գրել» էին աշխարհի բոլոր լեզուներով ու բոլորին հասկանալի օգնության կոչ կամ, ավելի շուտ, օրհասական ճիչ՝ «SOS»: Դա այն ճիչը, այն ազդանշանն է, որ հաղորդում են նավաբեկության ենթարկված նավից, առհասարակ՝ աղետի մեջ հայտնվածները... Ու դա այսօր հասկանալի է...
Բայց մենք հիշում ենք, որ նույն Վերածննդի հրապարակում ընդամենը ինչ-որ 6-7 տարի առաջ բոլորովին այլ պատկեր էր, որը աշխարհին ու առաջին հերթին՝ Արցախի հայությանը մշտապես կոտորելու ծրագիր ու նպատակ ունեցող ադրբեջանական թուրքերին բոլորովին այլ «ազդանշաններ» էր հղում: Ընդամենը 6-7 տարի առաջ, 10 տարի առաջ, 15 տարի առաջ, 20 տարի առաջ այս հրապարակով շքերթով անցնում էր արտացոլումն այն համահավաք ուժի, առանց որի չի կարող գոյություն ունենալ որևէ ժողովուրդ ու պետական կազմավորում: Անցնում էր Արցախի հաղթական բանակը: Շքերթով և վստահ: Մարտունակ և ուժեղ: Բայց դա երևի «ոմանց», ինչպես Երևանում, այնպես էլ Ստեփանակերտում, անարդար ու սխալ բան էր թվում:
Ու հայտնի է, թե ովքեր են այդ «ոմանք»: Նրանք այսօր էլ իշխանական տարբեր պաշտոններում են Արցախում ու Հայաստանում: Ու «թավշյա» երկրաքանդություն եղավ: Ու եղավ բանակաքանդություն, ներքին ատելության տարածում, եղան պոպուլիստական բացականչություններ, թշնամու հետ վերելակային պայմանավորվածություններ, պատերազմի հրահրում, խարխլած բանակի, պատերազմի միտումնավոր սխալ կառավարում, եղավ Հայաստանի ու հայության պարտվեցում, եղավ հայությանը կանխամտածված մոլորության մեջ գցելու քարոզչահոգեբանական դիվերսիոն «գործողություն»: ...Եվ հիմա Վերածննդի հրապարակում ոչ թե Հայոց բանակի տանկերն ու զորքերն են անցնում, այլ աշխարհից օգնություն կանչելու օրհասական «SOS»-ն է:
