«Օրեր առաջ տեղեկություններ կային, որ ՀՀ ճանապարհային այն ոստիկանները, որոնց հայհոյել էր Աժ «Բարգավաճ Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Հրանտ Դավթյանը, պատրաստվում են Աժ էթիկայի հանձնաժողովին դիմում ներկայացնել ընդդեմ Դավթյանի: Այդ օրերին էթիկայի հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանը Ստրասբուրգում մասնակցում էր ԵԽԽՎ ամառային նստաշրջանին, և հանձնաժողովի անդամները դժվարանում էին որևէ տեղեկություն հայտնել դիմում ստացե՞լ են, թե ոչ: Երեկ, սակայն, մեզ հետ զրույցում Ստրասբուրգից վերադարձած Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանը հայտնեց, որ որևէ դիմում ընդդեմ ԲՀԿ-ականի իր ղեկավարած հանձնաժողովը չի ստացել: Հիշեցնենք, Դավթյանն իր ավտոմեքենան կանգնեցրած ոստիկաններին ասել էր. «էս յեքա տռասի վրա էլ ավտո չկար հա՞ կանգնացնելու, դեպուտատին պետք ա կանգնացնես, ակտ գրես:

 Բեսամթ տղա ես էլի դու դառել ըտենց, արա»,- և հայհոյանքներ ու վիրավորական արտահայտություններ արել նրանց հասցեին: Միջադեպի մասին տեսանյութը տարածվելուց հետո անգամ խոսակցություններ եղան, թե ՀՀ ոստիկանապետ Վլադիմիր Գասպարյանը իր մոտ է կանչել պատգամավորին ու ապտակել նրան, իսկ ոստիկանությունը հայտարարաթյուն տարածեց, թե չի կարող դատարան դիմել, քանի որ Քաղաքացիական օրենսգրքի 19-րդ հոդվածում նշվում է, որ անձի պատիվն ու արժանապատվությունը, գործարար կամ բարի համբավը ենթակա են պաշտպանության միայն այլ անձի կողմից հրապարակայնորեն արված վիրավորանք պարունակող արտահայտությունների դեպքում: Ենթադրվում է, որ ոստիկանությանը Վլադիմիր Գասպարյանի ապտակները, ինչը պաշտոնապես հերքում էր, բավարար է համարել և հարցը փակված է համարամ, քանի րր հիմա նաև ժամանակ չունի նման խնդիրներով զբաղվելու»,–գրում է թերթը։
