Հայաստանի կոմպոզիտորների միության նախագահ Արամ Սաթյանը հայտարարություն է տարածել, որում ասվում է․

«Բաց նամակ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության, Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության, Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահներին, ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարին և մտավորականությանը

Արցախում ապրող մեր հայրենակիցներն արդեն ամիսներ շարունակ պաշարված են ադրբեջանական ղեկավարության կողմից: Օր օրի ավելի սրվող պարենային ճգնաժամը էլ ավելի է բարդացրել առանց այդ էլ հոգեբանական ծանր վիճակում գտնվող մեր եղբայրների ու քույրերի կյանքը: Հումանիտար աղետը կարող է ունենալ անդառնալի հետևանքներ: Ցավոք, 21-րդ դարում մեր ժողովուրդը շարունակում է պայքարել սեփական հողում ապրելու անքակտելի իրավունքի համար, որը լոկ տարածություն չէ, այլ հայրենիք: Խնդիրը բոլորինս է, խնդիրը միայն 120,000 հայերինը չէ, ովքեր ապրում են այդ սուրբ հողի վրա: Բավ է լռել կամ սոսկ կոչեր անել:  Սիրել երկիրը, ապրել սեփական տանը քաղաքականություն չէ, այլ իրավունք, հայրենասիրություն: Այսօր արցախահայությունը, որոնց հետ 30 տարվա մեջ տեսել ենք 3 պատերազմ, իրավունք ունեն սեփական հայրենիքում ապրել արժանապատիվ ու անվտանգ:

 Մենք դիմում ենք ամբողջ աշխարհի մտավորականությանը, բոլոր մարդկանց: Մի՛ թույլ տվեք, որ բռնապետությունը թևեր առած շարունակի ճախրել,  քանզի այդ ամենը կարող է նաև դառնալ նախադեպ ու Ձեր տան դուռն էլ թակել: Մի՛ առաջնորդվեք չեզոքությամբ, բարձրաձայնեք յուրաքանչյուրդ այս մեծ աղետի մասին, ձեր հերթին, ձեր չափով քայլեր իրականացրեք: Մենք դիմում ենք ՄԱԿ-ին՝ րոպե առաջ ապահովելու համար հումանիտար բեռների տեղափոխումը Արցախ, մենք դիմում ենք Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ երկրների՝ ԱՄՆ-ի, Ֆրանսիայի, ՌԴ-ի նախագահներին. իրականացրեք հստակ ու պատժիչ գործողություններ արցախահայության նկատմամբ Ալիևի՝ հայաթափման և էթնիկ զտման գործում:  Սննդի, հոսանքի, գազի, ջրի վրա ուղիղ արգելք դնելը, առավել ևս, երբ այդտեղ ապրում են երեխաներ, ծերեր,  նպատակային բնաջնջման փորձերը քողարկելը անտարբերությամբ իրավամբ նույնպես հանցակից դառնալ է: Բայց մենք հավատում ենք, որ այս ամենը աշխարհում չպետք է տեղ ունենա:

 Մենք մեր մասնագիտական առաքելությունը՝ ուղղված հայ երաժշտարվեստի զարգացմանն ու պահպանմանը, անում ենք մեծ սիրով ու պատասխանատվությամբ: Սակայն ամենը մղվում է ետին պլան, երբ գիտակցությանդ մեջ մեխվում է այն միտքը, որ մեզնից մի քանի հարյուր կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա կան երեխաներ, ովքեր քնում են քաղցած, կան հիվանդներ, ովքեր չեն կարողանում ստանալ իրենց առաջին օգնությունը, կան ծերեր, ովքեր չեն ապրում իրենց արժանավայել ծերությունը, կան ընտանիքներ, որոնց նվազագույն կոմունիկացիաները հասանելի չեն,և վերջապես կա մեր ազգի մաս, որը մեր բոլորի կարիքն ունի:

Լիահույս ենք, որ երկարատև խաղաղությանը մենք երկար չենք սպասի:
