Սուպերհամակարգիչը կանխատեսել է Երկրի վրա կլիմայական աղետ

Շվեյցարական Փոլ Շերեր ինստիտուտի մի խումբ գիտնականներ ԱՄՆ-ից, Չինաստանից, Իռլանդիայից, Ֆինլանդիայից և Շվեդիայից գործընկերների հետ սուպերհամակարգչով իրականացրել են կլիմայի մոդելավորում, ըստ որի Երկրի վրա հնարավոր է կլիմայական աղետ։ Հետազոտության արդյունքները հրապարակված են Science Direct գիտական տեղեկատվական հարթակի կայքում։
Այս ուսումնասիրության ընթացքում հեղինակները օգտագործել են կլիմայական և տնտեսական մոդելներ, հաշվի են առել էներգիայի արտադրության և օգտագործման 1200 տեխնոլոգիա, ինչպես նաև ջերմոցային գազերի արտանետումների նվազեցման մեթոդներ։
Փորձի ընթացքում համակարգիչը գեներացրել է 4000 սցենար աշխարհի 15 տարածաշրջանների համար՝ հաշվի առնելով իրադարձությունների հնարավոր զարգացումը 10 տարուց ընդհուպ մինչև 2100 թվականը։ Ի վերջո, սցենարների 70%-ը կանխատեսում էր, որ առաջիկա հինգ տարում աշխարհը կգերազանցի գլոբալ տաքացման նիշը՝ 1,5 աստիճան Ցելսիուս։ Այս 1,5 աստիճանը կդառնա անվտանգ սահման, որից հետո գլոբալ տաքացման հետեւանքները կդառնան անդառնալի ու աղետալի։ Ուստի միջազգային փորձագետները հորդորել են պահպանել տաքացումը այս սահմաններում։
Այս ուսումնասիրությունը կարող է գաղափար ծառայել կլիմայի փոփոխության դեմ պայքարի գործողությունների ծրագրերի մշակման համար, ասում են գիտնականները:
