Ուկրաինայի պաշտպանության ուժերը կարողացել են գրավել Դոնեցկի մարզի Բախմուտ քաղաքի մոտակայքում գտնվող գլխավոր հրամանատարական բարձունքները և մի քանի օր շարունակ կրակի տակ են պահել քաղաքը։
Այս մասին երկուշաբթի՝ հուլիսի 10-ին, Telegram-ում հայտնել է պաշտպանության փոխնախարար Աննա Մալյարը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ Ուկրաինայի Զինված ուժերը կրակային հսկողության տակ են պահում ռուսների բոլոր մուտքերը, ելքերը և քաղաքի շուրջ տեղաշարժերը։
Մալյարը նշել է, որ դա հնարավոր է դարձել այն բանի շնորհիվ, որ առաջ շարժվելով՝ Ուկրաինայի պաշտպանության ուժերը վերահսկողության տակ են վերցրել Բախմուտի շրջակայքում գտնվող հիմնական գերիշխող բարձունքները։
Հուլիսի 7-ին Մալյարը հայտարարել էր, որ Բախմուտում ռուսներն ընկել են ծուղակը և չեն կարողացել հեռանալ քաղաքից Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի գործողությունների պատճառով։
