Հայաստանը շեշտում է Եվրոպական միության խորհրդում Շվեդիայի նախագահության ընթացքում արձանագրված ձեռքբերումները, ինչպես նաև մեծ ակնկալիքներով սպասում է ԵՄ խորհրդի նախագահությունը ստանձնած Իսպանիայի հետ համագործակցությանը։ «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին «Թվիթեր»-ում գրառումներ է կատարել ՀՀ արտգործնախարարության խոսնակ Անի Բադալյանը։

«Իսպանիայի կողմից ԵՄ խորհրդի նախագահությունը ստանձնելու հետ մեկտեղ մենք անհամբերությամբ սպասում ենք ընդհանուր օրակարգի ընդլայնմանը, որն ուղղված է ԵՄ-ի հետ արդեն իսկ սերտ գործընկերության խորացմանը, տարածաշրջանային կայունությանն ու կայուն զարգացմանը նպաստելուն, և այդ նպատակներին հասնելու համար՝ Հայաստան-Իսպանիա երկկողմ համագործակցության ամրապնդմանը»,- նշված է ՀՀ ԱԳՆ խոսնակի հայտարարությունում։

Անի Բադալյանը նաև ընդգծել է այն կարևոր ձեռքբերումները, որոնք գրանցվել են Շվեդիայի՝ ԵՄ խորհրդի 6-ամսյա նախագահության ընթացքում, մասնավորապես՝ Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն քաղաքական և անվտանգային հարցերով երկխոսության առաջին հանդիպումը, ինչպես նաև՝ Հայաստանում Եվրոպական Միության առաքելության գործունեության մեկնարկը։

Իր հերթին, ԵՄ խորհրդում նախագահությունը ստանձնած Իսպանիան հայտարարել է, որ հատուկ ուշադրություն է հրավիրելու Արևելյան գործընկերությանը, ինչպես նաև կազմակերպելու է Եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնքի երրորդ գագաթնաժողովը, որը տեղի կունենա հոկտեմբերի 5-ին՝ Գրանադայում։

Հենց այս գագաթնաժողովի ընթացքում էլ նախատեսվում է ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի, Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի եռակողմ հանդիպումը։
