Երևանի Գայի պողոտայում առաջին երթևեկելի գոտին առանձնացվել է հասարակական տրանսպորտի համար: Առանձնացված գոտում արգելվում է մյուս ավտոմեքենաների երթևեկությունը:
Երևանի քաղաքապետարանը հունիսի 12-ին հայտարարություն տարածեց՝ հայտնելով փոփոխության մասին:
Տրանսպորտային համակարգի բարեփոխումների ծրագրով հունիսի 11-ին Գայի պողոտայում շահագործման հանձնվեց ավտոբուսի համար առանձնացված հերթական գիծը: Փոփոխությունն իրականացվել է հաշվի առնելով պողոտան սպասարկող հասարակական տրանսպորտի երթուղիների քանակն ու օրվա ծանրաբեռնված ժամերին տրանսպորտի երթևեկության խտությունը: Գայի պողոտայի առաջին երթևեկելի գոտիով այսուհետ կթույլատրվի երթևեկել միայն հասարակական տրանսպորտին: Փոփոխության վերահսկումը կիրականացվի տեսալուսանկարահանող սարքերով, ճանապարհային երթևեկության կանոնները խախտող վարորդները կենթարկվեն վարչական պատասխանատվության:
ՓոփոխությունՆ արվել է նշված վայրում խցանումներից խոսափելու և երթևեկության որակը բարելավելու համար, սակայն հարկ է նշել, որ տվյալ փոփոխությունը հակասական գնահատականների է արժանաացել. տրանսպորտով երթևեկողները գոհ են, իսկ ավտոմեքենաներով երթևեկողները դժգոհ:
Փոփոխությունը խնդիրների առաջ է կանգնեցրել նաև տաքսիների վարորդներին, քանի որ վերջիններս այլևս չեն կարող այս հատվածում կանգնել և ուղևոր վերցնել: Դե իսկ տաքսիներից օգտվել ցանկացողները ստիպված են բավարարվել հասարակական տրանսպորտով:
Այս ծրագիրը նախատեսվում է իրականացնել նաև մայրաքաղաքի այլ փողոցներում:
