Ադրբեջանն այս ռազմական սադրանքին երկար ժամանակ նախապատրաստվում էր տեղեկատվական գրոհներով, թե, իբրև, Արցախի բանակն է շփման գծի տարբեր հատվածներում խախտում հրադադարը։ Ադրբեջանն իրադրությունը սրելու և ԼՂ-ն հայաթափելու հետևողական քաղաքականություն է վարում:
Այս մասին Կառավարության նիստի ժամանակ ասաց վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ Ադրբեջանի գործելակերպը հենց այդպես է ընկալվում միջազգային հանրության կողմից:
«Ադրբեջանական սադրանքի վերաբերյալ պետք է ընդգծեմ, որ դրանով Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղություն հաստատելու, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի իրավունքների և անվտանգության հարցերը հասցեագրելու ջանքերը չեզոքացնելու նպատակ ունեն։
Այս օրերին Հայաստանի պատվիրակությունը Վաշինգտոնում շարունակում է բանակցություններն Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարի հետ՝ խաղաղության պայմանագրի տեքստը համաձայնեցնելու ուղղությամբ»,- շեշտեց նա։
Փաշինյանը նաև հայտարարեց, որ մեր տարածաշրջանում խաղաղությունն այլընտրանք չունի և մեր կառավարությունը՝ առերեսվելով բոլոր դժվարությունների և բարդությունների հետ, շարունակելու է խաղաղության քաղաքական ուղեգիծը:
