Հունիսի 20-ին, ժամը 07.00-ին, ոստիկանության Գառնիի բաժանմունք էր գնացել 54-ամյա մի տղամարդ և հայտնել, որ մուրճով խփել է եղբոր գլխին և սպանել նրան:
Այս մասին հայտնում են ոստիկանությունից։
Ժամը 07.16-ին ոստիկանության օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոն ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ շտապօգնության խումբը կանչով մեկնել է Գառնի գյուղի Շիրազի փողոցի տներից մեկը, որտեղ հայտնաբերել է արնաշաղախ և անգիտակից վիճակում գտնվող 51-ամյա տղամարդու, որին «պոլիտրավմա, գանգուղեղային տրավմա, կոմա» ախտորոշմամբ տեղափոխել է «Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ» բժշկական կենտրոն:
Ժամը 08.39-ին ոստիկանության օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոն «Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ» բժշկական կենտրոնից հաղորդում է ստացվել, որ 51-ամյա Վահան Հարությունյանը մահացել է:
Սպանություն կատարելու հիմնավոր կասկածանքով սպանվածի 54-ամյա եղբայրը ձերբակալվել և ներկայացվել է վարույթն իրականացնող մարմին:
Հանցագործության գործիք մուրճը հայտնաբերվել է:
Ծանուցում. Ենթադրյալ հանցանքի մեջ կասկածվողը կամ մեղադրվողը համարվում է անմեղ, քանի դեռ նրա մեղավորությունն ապացուցված չէ ՀՀ քրեական դատավարության օրենսգրքով սահմանված կարգով` դատարանի` օրինական ուժի մեջ մտած դատավճռով:
