Մաշտոցյան Մատենադարանի և Ուոթերթաունի Ամերիկայի Հայկական Թանգարանի (ԱՀԹ) համագործակցությունը սկսվել է 2022 թվականից՝ ձեռագրերի ընդարձակ նկարագրությունների պատրաստումով, որն իրականացրել է Մատենադարանի գիտաշխատող՝ այժմ գլխավոր ավանդապահի պարտականությունները կատարող Դավիթ Ղազարյանը։
Մատերադարանից հայտնում են, որ ԱՀԹ-ն ԱՄՆ-ում հայ արվեստի նմուշներ ունեցող ամենամեծ հաստատությունն է։ Այս համագործակցությունն ավելի է ընդարձակվել շնորհիվ Bank of America (BofA)ի 2023 թվականի դրամաշնորհային ծրագրի, որը հատկացվել է ԱՀԹ-ի հավաքածուի 21 ձեռագրերի նորոգման համար (Հավաքածուի հնագույն ձեռագիրը 1207 թվականի մի Ավետարան է)։
BofA-ն դրամաշնորհ է տրամադրում մշակութային կենտրոններին՝ առավել կարևոր արվեստի նմուշների պահպանման համար։ 2010 թվականից գործող BofA-ի այս ծրագրի շրջանակներում իրականացվել է 237 նախագիծ 40 երկրում։
