Հունիսի 11-ին Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին նշեց Կաթողիկե Սուրբ Էջմիածնի տոնը։ 

Բերկրառատ օրվա առիթով Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ էջմիածնի միաբանությունը, Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի գլխավորությամբ, Պատարագի սրբազան արարողությանը մասնակցեց Սուրբ Գայանե վանքում:

Պատարագի սրբազան արարողությանը ներկա էին Մայր Աթոռ ժամանած թեմակալ առաջնորդներ, Սուրբ Էջմիածնի տարբեր կառույցներում պաշտոնավարող եպիսկոպոսներ, միաբանական համագումարի մասնակիցներ և բազում ուխտավոր հայորդիներ։

Պատարագիչն էր Մայր Աթոռի լուսարարապետ Գերաշնորհ Տ.Մուշեղ եպիսկոպոս Բաբայանը:
Տոնի խորհուրդի շուրջ քարոզ խոսեց Կ.Պոլսի Հայոց Պատրիարք Ամենապատիվ Տ․ Սահակ արքեպիսկոպոս Մաշալյանը։ Պատրիարք Հայրը, անդրադառնալով օրվա խորհրդին, մասնավորապես նշեց․ «Ինչո՞վ է կարևոր Էջմիածինը մեզ համար։ Սուրբ Էջմիածինը մեզ համար միայն տաճար չէ, այլ գաղափար է, մեր ազգը միավորող ամենազորեղ իրողություններից մեկն է, ուխտ և տեսիլք է մեզ համար։ Այս տարածքը՝ Վաղարշապատը, մեզ համար դարձավ Սուրբ էջմիածին Աստծո կամքով ու ողորմությամբ։ Աստված մեզ տվեց հայկական Ավագ Շաբաթը, որը սկսում է Հռիփսիմյանց կույսերի նահատակությամբ և հասնում մինչև շաբաթ` Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորչի «ելն ի վիրապէն» տոնը, հայոց պետականության քրիստոնեացման իրադարձությունից մինչև Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորչի տեսիլքը։ Ուրեմն, այս Ավագ շաբաթն է, որ մեր ազգի պատմության մեջ անմոռանալի հետքեր է թողել։ Աստված մարմնացրեց իր գաղափարը Սուրբ Էջնիածնի տաճարի մեջ և այս խորհուրդը մեր նախնիները փոխանցել են նոր սերունդներին ու դրա շնորհիվ է, որ մենք մեկ ազգ ենք»։

Պատրիարք Սրբազանը հորդորեց հավատացյալներին մշտապես վառ պահել հայոց սրբությունները իրենց հիշողության մեջ, ապրել ու զորանալ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի խորհրդով։

Սուրբ Պատարագի ավարտին, Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետի հանդիսապետությամբ, կատարվեց Հայրապետական մաղթանք: Ներկա հավատացյալ ժողովուրդը և եկեղեցականաց դասն աղոթք բարձրացրեցին առ Աստված Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի շենացման, անսասանության և իր սրբազան առաքելության հարատևության համար։
