Հնդկաստանում պետական պաշտոնյա Ռաջեշ Վիշվասը ժամանակավորապես հեռացվել է այն բանից հետո, երբ հրամայել է ցամաքեցնել Հերքաթ ջրամբարը՝ հանուն խորտակված սմարթֆոնի, որը նա սելֆի անելիս ջուրն էր գցել: Այս մասին հայտնում է BBC-ն։
Այն բանից հետո, երբ տեղի ջրասուզակները չեն կարողացել գտնել հեռախոսը, պաշտոնյան վճարել է դիզելային պոմպի առաքման համար: Ջուրը հանելու համար պահանջվել է երեք օր։ Ըստ Վիշվասի՝ դա անհրաժեշտ էր, քանի որ հեռախոսը պարունակում էր պետական գաղտնի տվյալներ։
Վիշվասն ասել է, որ «մի քիչ ջուր ցամաքեցնելու» բանավոր թույլտվություն է ստացել: Նա հավելել է, որ իրեն վստահեցրել են ֆերմերների համար ջրահեռացման օգուտի մասին: Մոտ երկու միլիոն լիտր ջուր է բաց թողնվել ջրամբարից, ինչը բավարար էր վեց քառակուսի կիլոմետր գյուղատնտեսական հողատարածք ոռոգելու համար:
Պաշտոնյան հրաժարվել է ընդունել պաշտոնի չարաշահումը` պատճառաբանելով, որ իր ցամաքեցրած ջուրը «օգտագործման համար պիտանի չէր»: Սակայն նրա գործողությունները արժանացել են քաղաքական գործիչների քննադատությանը:
