Մայիսի 28-ին Թբիլիսիում նշվել է Սայաթ-Նովային նվիրված և արդեն ավանդական դարձած Վարդատոնը։ Այս մասին տեղեկացնում են Վրաստանում Հայաստանի դեսպանությունից:
Տոնական միջոցառումը մեկնարկել է Թբիլիսիի Սուրբ Գևորգ առաջնորդանիստ եկեղեցում տոնական պատարագով, որին հաջորդել է Վիրահայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Հգշ․ Տեր Կիրակոս վարդապետ Դավթյանի կողմից կատարված հոգեհանգստյան կարգը Սայաթ-Նովայի շիրմաքարի մոտ։
Գորգասալի հրապարակում անցկացվել է տոնական համերգ՝ կազմակերպված Վիրահայերի միություն հասարակական կազմակերպության կողմից՝ Վրաստանում ՀՀ դեսպանության և Թբիլիսիի քաղաքային իշխանությունների աջակցությամբ։
Միջոցառման մասնակիցներին ուղղված ողջույնի խոսքով հանդես են եկել Թբիլիսիի սակրեբուլոյի նախագահի տեղակալ Թինաթին Նիբլոշվիլին, Վրաստանում ՀՀ դեսպան Աշոտ Սմբատյանը, Վրաստանի գրողների միության նախագահ Մակլավա Գոնաշվիլին։
ՀՀ դեսպանը ներկաներին շնորհավորել է Հանրապետության օրվա առթիվ և կարևորել արդեն 109-րդ անգամ Սայաթ-Նովային նվիրված գեղեցիկ տոնի՝ Վարդատոնի նշումը Թբիլիսիում՝ շնորհակալություն հայտնելով տոնական միջոցառման բոլոր կազմակերպիչներին և աջակիցներին։
Կատարումներով հանդես են եկել Հայաստանի Հանրային ռադիոյի Սայաթ-Նովա աշուղական երգի վաստակավոր անսամբլը, Երևանի պետական համալսարանի Շառլ Ազնավուրի անվան մշակութային կենտրոնի սաները, Ախալցխայի, Ախալքալաքի և Թբիլիսիի պարային ու երաժշտական խմբեր և անհատ կատարողներ։
