Արիզոնայի օրենսդիր մարմինը հաստատել է ԼՂ ինքնորոշման իրավունքը

ԱՄՆ-ի Արիզոնայի նահանգի օրենսդիր մարմինը հաստատել է Արցախի Հանրապետութեան (Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի) ինքնորոշման իրավունքը Արիզոնայի նահանգի Ներկայացուցիչների տան նախագահ Բեն Թոմայի հրապարակած հռչակագրով։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Ամերիկայի Հայ Դատի հանձնախումբը (ANCA)։
«Մենք ողջունում ենք Արիզոնայի նահանգային ժողովի նախագահի հայտարարությունը, որով ճանաչում է Արցախի ինքնորոշման իրավունքը՝ կարևոր քայլ արցախահայության համար արդարության ճանապարհին», – նշել է ANCA-ի Ազգային խորհրդի անդամ Զանկու Արմենյանը:
«Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի շրջափակման պայմաններում այս համերաշխության ցույցը մեր համայնքի շարունակական ջանքերի կարևոր մասն է՝ իրազեկելու այս ծավալվող մարդասիրական աղետի մասին և ապահովելու, որ Ադրբեջանը պատասխանատվություն կկրի հայ ժողովրդի դեմ իր չդադարող ագրեսիայի համար: Այս հռչակագիրը վկայում է Արիզոնայի ամերիկահայ համայնքի անխոնջ պաշտպանությունը, և ANCA-ն ակնկալում է շարունակել աշխատել նահանգի տեղական ակտիվիստների հետ՝ ապահովելու, որ մեր համայնքի ձայնը լսելի լինի կառավարության բոլոր մակարդակներում»:
Արիզոնայի հայ համայնքի ղեկավարներ Արթուր Արթենյանը և Վարդան Արաբյանը, աշխատելով ANCA-ի հետ համատեղ, գլխավորել են օրենսդրական ջանքերը: Հռչակագրում Արցախը նշվում է որպես «հայ ժողովրդի բնիկ հայրենիք, որը մի քանի հազարամյակ եղել է հայ մշակութային, քաղաքական և կրոնական կյանքի կենտրոն»:
Այն փաստագրում է Խորհրդային Ադրբեջանի տասնամյակների ընթացքում արցախյան ճնշումը և հետանկախական ագրեսիան, որը «հանգեցրեց հարձակմանը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի վրա 2020 թվականին, որը տեսավ, որ Ադրբեջանը ռազմական հանցագործություններ կատարեց տարածաշրջանի հայ բնակչության դեմ և հանգեցրեց նրան, որ Ադրբեջանը վերահսկողության տակ առավ Ղարաբաղի տարածքի 70%-ը»։
Հռչակագիրը ողջունում է արցախահայության «ինքնորոշման իրավունքն իրացնելու և բռնությունից ու բռնաճնշումներից զերծ ապրելու ջանքերը, և ճանաչելով Արցախի իշխանությունը՝ միջազգային հանրությունը կարող է օգնել հանգուցալուծել այս դարավոր հակամարտությունը»։
Արիզոնայի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի խոսնակ Թոման այնուհետև հաստատում է աջակցությունը «Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության ինքնորոշման իրավունքին և նրա շարունակական ջանքերին՝ զարգանալու որպես ազատ և անկախ ազգ, որպեսզի երաշխավորի իր քաղաքացիներին այն իրավունքները, որոնք բնորոշ են ազատ և անկախ հասարակությանը. Եվ ավելին, ես քաջալերում եմ Միացյալ Նահանգների կառավարությանը ամրապնդել մեր երկրի տնտեսական և մշակութային հարաբերությունները Արցախի Հանրապետության և նրա քաղաքացիների հետ և շարունակել նպաստել տարածաշրջանի մարդասիրական և տնտեսական վերականգնմանը»:
