«Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության անդամները Հանրապետության օրվա առթիվ ծաղիկներ են խոնարհել հայի արժանապատվությունը խորհրդանշող «Նեմեսիս» հուշարձանին:

Հայաստանի Առաջին Հանրապետության օրը խորհրդանշում է հայ ժողովրդի՝ պետականություն ստեղծելու և այն ամեն գնով պահպանելու ձգտումը։ 105 տարի առաջ պատմական տարածքի մի փոքր հատվածում հայ ժողովուրդը հռչակեց իր անկախությունը:

Առաջին հանրապետության հռչակումը դարավոր ընդմիջումից հետո հայկական պետության վերականգնման սկիզբն էր, հայի՝ հայ մնալու աննկուն պայքարի բացառիկ օրինակ։

Մայիսի 28-ի հաղթանակը հասունացել էր դարերի ընթացքում` մեր ժողովրդի անհավասար պայքարի ու բազում զրկանքների արդյունքում։ Եվ, ի վերջո, այն ընտրեց ազատ ու արժանապատիվ ապրելը, քաղաքակրթությանը համընթաց քայլելը։

Այս օրը դարձավ մեր քաղաքական վերածննդի սկիզբը, և չնայած նրան, որ առաջին հանրապետությունը կարճ կյանք ունեցավ, այդուհանդերձ, այդ փուլը ուսանելի օրինակ դարձավ բոլորիս համար, սովորեցրեց, թե ինչպես դժվարագույն պայմաններում անգամ ինքնության կորուստը թույլ չտալ ոչ մի դեպքում։

Առաջին Հանրապետության հռչակմամբ հայ ժողովուրդն ապացուցեց, որ պետականությունը բարձրագույն արժեք է, որ հայ մարդը չի ընկրկում ոչ մի սպառնալիքի առջև։ Եվ այսօր էլ մեր յուրաքանչյուրիս պարտքը դառնում է նոր պայքարի ելնելն ու աննահանջ առաջ շարժվելը։ Որովհետև հենց սա է այսօրվա, այս օրը կերտած հերոսների ու հայրենիքի նվիրյալների պատգամը։

Հավերժ փառք ու խոնարհում բոլոր այն հայորդիներին, որոնք կերտեցին մայիսի 28-ը, որոնք մեզ ժառանգեցին Հանրապետություն։
