Հաղորդում է ստացվել այն մասին, որ Գառնիի Բանավանից դեպի Արտաշատ ճանապարհին տեղի է ունեցել ավտովթար և կան տուժածներ։ Այս մասին հայտնում է ՔԿ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Գոռ Աբրահամյանը։

«Պարզվել է, որ Արտաշատից Գառնի տանող ճանապարհի 14-րդ կիլոմետրի հատվածում, դեպի Գառնի գնացող ուղեմասում, միմյանց են բախվել Գառնի գյուղի 42 ամյա բնակչի կողմից վարած «Վոլցվագեն Այդի 4» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենան և Վերին Արտաշատի բնակավայրի 38 ամյա բնակչի կողմից վարած «Վազ 2106» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենան։ 

Վթարի հետևանքով «Վազ 2106»-ի վարորդը տեղում մահացել է, իսկ նույն ավտոմեքենայի 6 ուղևորները, որոնց թվում 5-ը՝ երեխաներ, ինչպես նաև մյուս ավտոմեքենայի վարորդը, մարմնական տարբեր աստճանի վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել են Երևան քաղաքի բժշկական հաստատություններ։

Ըստ նախնական տվյալների՝ «Վազ 2106» ավտոմեքենայով ըմբշամարտի 2 մարզիչները երեխաների հետ մեկնելիս են եղել Գառնի՝ ըմբշամարտի մրցումների մասնակցելու նպատակով։

Նախնական տվյալներով երեխաներից 2-ի վիճակը ծայրահեղ ծանր է, մյուսներինը՝ ծանր։

Դեպքի առթիվ ՀՀ Քննչական Կոմիտեի Կոտայքի մարզային քննչական վարչության Աբովյանի քննչական բաժնում նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 342րդ հոդվածի 2րդ մասի հատկանիշներով։ 

Նշանակվել են դատաբժշկական փորձաքննություններ։ 

Կատարվում են անհրաժեշտ վարութային և ապացուցողական գործողություններ՝ ավտովթարի պատճառները և այլ հանգամանքներ պարզելու նպատակով։

Նախնական տվյալներով ավտոմեքենաների վարորդների օրգանիզմում ալկոհոլի առկայություն չի հայտնաբերվել»։
