Մայիսի 24-ին տեղի է ունեցել ՀՀ պետական եկամուտների կոմիտեի շնագիտական կենտրոնի նոր մասնաշենքերի բացման արարողությունը, որին մասնակցել են ՀՀ ՊԵԿ նախագահ Ռուստամ Բադասյանը, Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ փոխդեսպան Չիփ Լեյթինենը, ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանության պաշտպանական համագործակցության գրասենյակի ղեկավար Դենիել Սինգլթոնը, ԱՄՆ արդարադատության դեպարտամենտի թմրամիջոցների դեմ պայքարի վարչության ներկայացուցիչները և ՀՀ ՊԵԿ կառուցվածքային ստորաբաժանումների ղեկավարները։ Այս մասին հայտնել է ՀՀ պետական եկամուտների կոմիտեն։
«ՊԵԿ շնագիտական կենտրոնի նոր մասնաշենքի կառուցումն իրականացվել է ԱՄՆ կառավարության գործուն աջակցությամբ։ Աջակցության չափը կազմում է մոտ 750 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլար:
Շնագիտական կենտրոնի կարողությունների զարգացումը հերթական քայլն է ուղղված՝ թմրամիջոցների մաքսանենգության դեմ պայքարում ներուժի հզորացմանը: Նոր ենթակառուցվածքների շահագործումը կարևոր նշանակություն կունենա հատկապես թմրամիջոցների ապօրինի շրջանառության կանխման և մաքսային սահմանով թմրամիջոցների ապօրինի տեղափոխման բացահայտման գործում։
Աշխատանքների արդյունքում ընդլայնվել և արդիականացվել են կենտրոնի ենթակառուցվածքները և կարողությունները, կահավորվել և շահագործման են հանձնվել մաքսային հսկողության տարբեր գոտիներին գործառույթային առումով նմանեցված տարածքները։
Արդյունքում, Շնագիտական կենտրոնը դարձել է միջազգային չափանիշներին համապատասխանող տարածաշրջանային կառույց, որտեղ հնարավոր կլինի վարժանքներ և վերապատրաստումներ կազմակերպել նաև մաքսային ծառայությունների ստորաբաժանումների և այլ երկրների իրավապահ մարմինների համար՝ թմրամիջոցների դեմ պայքարի համատեքսում։
Շնագիտական կենտրոնում իրականացված բարեփոխումները նոր հնարավորություններ կընձեռեն ՊԵԿ մաքսանենգության դեմ պայքարի վարչությանը՝ առավել արդյունավետ հակազդելու թմրամիջոցների և հոգեմետ նյութերի ապօրինի շրջանառությանը տարածաշրջանում։
